These run super large. I got a Medium 6/7 for my daughter and I'd say they may be more of a kids XL. I'll keep them but would definitely size down if available.

Wide-leg pants for tall kids
Good price for the quality, but they run pretty big and are very long, the length was even too long for me, an adult woman. I bought a size large (I0) and these have to be xxl size, they're very baggy in the legs as well.

The sizing is very off. I ordered the 10/12 and they are at least two sizes bigger than that. The length is very long. Im going to try a smaller size.
