Weider 2980 X Home Gym System with 80 Lb. Vinyl Weight Stack

Home Gym is great granted upon pick up and arriving at home, the hardware was missing. I had to call the manufacturer directly to get the needed parts in order to assemble. The young lady representing the Weider Manufacturer was very pleasant to deal with. I finally have all parts needed in order to assemble.

We love it...compact enough but big enough to give us what we needed, grandson even likes it and he is 8 yrs old...it took us about 5 hours to out it together, but easy. It helps stretch our muscles and improve strength..we are well over 65 yrs old too

husband really likes the gym has everything on it that he wanted.....we see the grandkids alot more now to since he got the machine so it was a great investment

Works great , the cables took awhile to get threaded through but it was actually an easy set up. Me and my wife put it together in about 3 hours. It's great for an in home gym.

Love this machine! It has been wonderful to work out when I want at home. Great resistance for myself as I increase weight and for others at different levels who use it as well

I prefer working out at home , but needed to rotate between free and fixed weight . This gets the job done , and then some ....

I suggest picking it up at the store. It's heavy and delivery services tend to damage heavy boxes. Ordered online , took 6 days for it to arrive at the store. Went to Walmart and was told to go around to the side and Walmart personnel loaded it in my van. Great service! The directions were straight forward and I assembled it myself in under 4hrs taking my time. Pros: Price, directions, assembly, great value Cons: Seat slants slightly to the right, difficulty doing a couple of exercises due to the lack of range of motion. Range of motion maxes out too early for someone who's 6' or over but perfect for someone under 5'8. All in all, it's a great machine. It's not a $1500 home gym but at at the $200 range it's definitely worth the money.

just got in mail Nov 1st week.love the Home gym.with YouTube help install in 2 to 3 hrs.i should give 5 stars instead 4. only one thing i dont like front side of gym is very light in weight. when i do arm exercises and lift tricep Bar gym lift up with tricep bar. not big problem i used U Clamp and Nail it orund gym bottom floor pipe and it work.i definitely recommend to everyone.

Nice equipment for a beginner. The high pulley is low. The weight stack gets stuck. The bench press and butterfly is perfect but it should of had an adjustable back rest.

Received half of the order. Box was all taped up with holes in it. It was in very bad shape. Contents seemed OK, but did not have a packing list to know if everything was there. A new order has been sent and am still waiting for it. Still have first half of order. Was supposed to be contacted for pick up. That has not happened. This has been a long process with a number of phone calls that most did not go well. Don't think I will ever order from Walmart again.
