Hi, Of course there is no way I can confirm it's 100% copper. The cup arrived as pictured. Well packaged. Ship time is somewhat slow. Appears to be an international shipment. Be aware the inside of the cup is easily stained. Unsure if this is to be expected.

This is an attractive copper mug, which i purchased as a birthday gift for a friend. The interior had light scraping around the sides, which i believe was intentional, and perhaps it was to remove a finish there. I took fine sandpaper and lightly sanded it. In retrospect, i realized i hadn't checked to ensure that there was no coating or finish on the interior, because we wanted the liquids to absorb copper ions from the mug and the only way that can happen is with raw copper. The handle is firmly attached with no leakage, and i think for solid copper (as stated that it is), this is a good buy for the price. The size is good, too-- not too small as some i've looked at. Lastly, i like the fact that the base is the same width, making the mug more secure and not easily knocked over.
