We surprised friends and put this up on their porch. They left it up for over a week! Wind and all, it stayed up. We did have to use a few thumb tacks to keep the ribbon/ties in place on the front porch columns, but that was no big deal.
This banner is surprisingly sturdy. It lives through a storm with wind with no problem. It can be reused!

The sign itself is very nice. I guess I did not read the description well enough though because since it's showing it with steaks in the yard, I presume it would come with steaks. It did not. And I didn't realize this until it was basically too late to get stakes so it wasn't nearly the fun surprise that I thought it would be for my family coming home.
