I have given this book to 2 of my friends who are new Grandmas, and they both loved it. It is a sweet book, with simple rhyming text, and it has a page at the beginning to record baby's first statistics. Perfect for a new parent or grandparent, or as part of a baby shower gift.

I bought this book for a new family I was bringing a meal to at our church. Very cute book, board pages, sweet wording and a place to write information about baby's name, weight, birthdate, etc. I will be buying a few more just to have on hand to give away!

My oldest granddaughter told me back in November she is expecting!! Then come January my next oldest granddaughter told me she's expecting!! So I'm going to become a great nanny twice this year and need all of these lovely books I can get! They are will made and colorful and perfect for me to set with my great grand babies and read!!

I might be reading more into it than there is but I realized the rainbow colors in each word offend me with the way they are used now to represent sexuality. Even if it's not intended that way it stirred up those emotions in me sadly. And the page where seeing different points of view doesn't belong in a this age children's book. I love rainbows and what God meant when he made a covenant with all people and a promise of life. Now it's used to symbolize sexuality. So disheartening. Sorry.
