Best tasting Iron ever

Nichelle C. March 13, 2020

It has a very pleasant taste unlike the nasty taste of all others I have tried before. Potent and worth the money for sure. Highly, recommended.

The ONE

Nichelle C. February 23, 2019

I have been through so many liquid iron supplements. Only, to say that they taste like rust, and I can't fathom the taste no matter how hard I tried. I was diagnosed anemic and need my iron. So when I stumbled across this one, I had my doubts. Not anymore and it will by long term pal. It doesn't taste like rust but of a light blueberry and only one tablespoon a day. How fabulous is this. I recommend this to anyone needing an iron supplement. Thank you so much for having this product.

Easy to take post-gastric bypass

Tricia December 15, 2020

I am one week post-RNYGB and this liquid iron is very easy to take. In fact, at our support meeting, I am the only patient who has already restarted iron and the only one taking a liquid vitamin. Continuing to get enough iron is especially important to me as I have struggled with anemia *before* surgery due to perimenopause. That is why I gave this product 4 stars for value. It is much more expensive than a $3 bottle of basic coated iron supplements. Unfortunately, those iron supplements won't do anyone much good if they stay sitting in the bottle because *new* stomachs cannot handle them. I have not been taking these long enough, nor have I had my iron levels tested, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of this product. The bottle flavor is supposed to be mixed berry. I'm not getting a berry flavor, but YMMV (Your Mileage May Vary). I think this tastes exactly like spiced apple cider. The consistency is quite fluid with a little more body than water, just like the cloudy kind of apple cider. You could mix this easily with other things. I find it very tolerable plain. Watch the serving size though. Unlike the 2 T. servings of multivitamin and calcium in this line, you only take 1 T. of the iron, or 32 days, so purchase accordingly. Bear in mind, however, that if you needed extra iron before surgery, you may be instructed to take two doses and then the bottle would equal the same 16 days of supplementation as the other two. I've been lucky and my stomach is handling liquids, including these vitamins, easily. I'm also tolerating a couple of small, non-chewable tablet medications too, so maybe I could have managed another type of vitamin. Still, I'm glad that I have them for at least the first month post-surgery for peace of mind.

Wellesse Liquid Iron Product Review

Sandra S. February 16, 2020

Wellesse liquid iron is a good vitamin for me. I had Gastric Sleeve Surgery in September of 2019, I still find it difficult to swallow vitamin pills, so I chose the liquid vitamins and they are easy to swallow and digest. Thank you, Bariatric Pal, for these products.

Great taste/ great price

Beverlye A. March 15, 2017

I'm very pleased with this liquid iron formula. I have been diagnosed with severe anemia for years and have battled with constipating iron tablets or very expensive iron/vitamin supplements. I'm in my 3rd week of using this product and I've not had a problem with constipation. Ihave high hopes that my energy levels will improve as I continue the regime

Convenient and Tasty

Veronica R. January 27, 2017

It was a pleasant surprise to find iron in liquid form, I had been struggling taking my vitamins and supplements after my gastric sleeve surgery, specially iron was causing some nausea but this product lacks that stingy smell and furthermore has a great taste. Since I got it I have been constant in taking it because it is no longer rejected by my body.

So Far So Good 👍

Janice R. September 8, 2021

I'm taking the Berry flavored Liquid Iron for my anemia. I like the taste better than the other one I was using and it doesn't upset my stomach. I feel like I have more energy but we'll see if my iron is holding in the normal range when I get my labwork done in a couple of weeks.
