The hinge pin door stoppers are one of those products that you see and somehow never get around to purchasing. I'm glad I finally did select these as they are incredibly easy to install and adjustable too you can set where in the swing the door stops. One side rests against the door and the other contacts the door frame. I went with the brass finish which is much lighter than the existing hinges but will likely blend in better as the stops age. It's so nice not to hear the thud of the door jam hitting the wall anymore. And of course no more worry about denting and damaging the wall. These simple door stops do the job of those ugly spring stops without drilling holes or impacting the wall or baseboards to do the same job. No instructions are provided and none are needed. Simply pop the hinge pin out of the top hinge, slide it through the bushing in the new stop and slide it back into the hinge. Then just turn the stopper end until you have it adjusted to your liking and that's it. Simple, effective and so easy even those with no mechanical ability can install and adjust them.
