Feels VERY nice. It really is water resistant, see attached video. It has an inside breast pocket to carry your cell phone. This pocket easily fits my iPhone 6sPlus that is inside of an Otterbox Defender case. Outside pockets have a very small flap on them to prevent rain from getting inside, yet are easy to get past and stick your hand inside. The outside right pocket is divided inside, separating your keys from pocket change or your corded ear buds. Zipper goes well up to the neck, yet fits into a pocket at the top so the zipper doesn't dig into your neck, I haven't seen this zipper pocket before, a VERY nice design. Additionally, the hood drawstring closes down closely to the zipper, creating a pretty good seal at the neck to keep the weather out. The hood is also thermo lined. The inside of the sleeves have a polyester lining. What's nice about that is that when you put on the sweatshirt while wearing a long sleeve shirt, your shirt sleeve doesn't get dragged up to your armpits. Definitely has thermal layer to keep you warm. Labeling: Made in Pakistan. MACHINE WASH COLD WATER WITH LIKE COLORS DO NOT USE BLEACH OR FABRIC SOFTENER. TUMBLE DRY LOW. DO NOT IRON
very well made jacket!!! a bit pricey but the quality is worth it, yes i would buy it again for husband that works in the cold temps.

I love my Wells Lamont Men's Full Zip Thermal Lined Hooded Fleece Sweatshirt! I am amazed at how comfortable the jacket is. It fits incredibly well and does not restrict movement. The sleeves are not scratchy against my arms which is a definite plus when wearing short sleeve shirts underneath. The hood is fully lined to stay toasty warm. Unlike a lot of other hoods that are thin, this one really works! It is a well-designed jacket. It has the normal two outside pockets. One has a ‘media pocket' but is not deep enough to hold my phone. It is more like an oversized watch pocket. There are even flaps over the pockets to keep them dry. It also has an interior breast pocket so my phone and wallet are safe! I also feel comfortable with the zipper. It is pretty heavy duty and was easy to use. The hood has draw strings that can almost completely close the hood around my face. I also like the ribbed cuffs and bottom. They are comfortable without being tight. When it gets dirty, just throw it in the washing machine. The cotton and polyester don't mind a good wash. Lastly, it is water resistant so you can shovel snow without getting that soggy feeling!
It's still summertime here. So, I haven't worn this hoodie on a daily basis. (I received it for free to test it out) But, I have tested it out jogging around the neighborhood last night (we got down to the 60's here) and it felt great and wore really well. It's made of super soft material that just snugs around you (sort of like my jersey sheet and comforter set). And, as with any Wells Lamont item, it's quality made. It's well stitched and substantial. But, not too heavy as to be uncomfortable. I got the 2XL size and it weighs just under three pounds. PS: I ordered a size larger than I really needed because sometimes hoodies run small. This one doesn't. You can order your actual size. Highly recommended!
only reason for 4 stars is the sizing is off the large is more like an extra large
Although I received this Wells Lamont hooded sweatshirt in the middle of the summer (free to review), I have worn it around the house for a while to test the fit. Since I haven't yet worn it outdoors, it's difficult for me to comment on its durability and warmth in cold weather. This sweatshirt is designed and marketed as work wear, but I'm unconvinced that the materials and design would hold up to more-than-light-duty wear in the outdoors. The sweatshirt's outside layer (60% cotton + 40% polyester) is very soft, like a typical hooded sweatshirt. The inside of the body and hood is lined with a color-matched thermal layer (60% cotton + 40% polyester, like thermal underwear) and the inside of the sleeves are lined with a layer of stitched, smooth 100% polyester. The sweatshirt isn't light in weight and it seems more than adequate to trap your body heat and keep you warm in cold weather, particularly if you're working or moving around. The cotton-blend lining is not fully stitched into the hood which seems like an oversight by the manufacturer. The sweatshirt's metal zipper seems to be heavy-duty. The hood's drawstrings are no thicker or more substantial than a regular hoodie's strings, with plastic aglets (the wrapped tips of drawstrings or shoelaces). The front pockets have a narrow flap over the openings which I suppose is intended to keep the pocket openings from gaping open, but that feature doesn't work as reliably as one would think. The elastic waistband is not as snug or stretchy as it should be. Finally, the fit is very strange; I wear 2XL shirts and jackets and therefore, I ordered a 2XL size of this sweatshirt. The body of this sweatshirt fits just fine, but the arm length is much too long and the woven/knit sleeve cuffs are loose, not snug or stretchy as they should be. I've never purchased any piece of outerwear in a size 2XL and had the sleeve length be ridiculously long. I'm a properly proportioned human being, but this sweatshirt appears to be designed for a Shrek-sized person. As a hooded sweatshirt that is obviously marketed as work wear, this Wells Lamont product receives a C- from me. The construction and materials are light-duty and the fit is very bizarre. I will throw this sweatshirt in the trunk of the car in cold weather as a “just in case of an emergency” jacket. I wouldn't recommend it, even for its $25 cost, to friends or family. This coming fall and winter, I'll wear my Carhartt jackets as normal and continue to recommend Carhartt clothing since its construction and design is obviously moderate- to heavy-duty, made for working outdoors.
