WeMo WDS060 Wi-fi Smart Light Switch with Dimmer

Works very well! Purchased 3 dimmers last year. Purchased 2 more to have complete control over lighting levels in great room and upper level balconies. Would buy additional units if compatible with 3-way circuit.

Great Product! Easy to Install. However, you must have modern wiring with neutral wire which knocks out some older homes. But, if you have modern wiring, the dimmers are beautiful, easy to install, easy to set up and a cinch to use.

Great addition to our dining room. Easy to install, yet the HomeKit Code should be on packaging (as well as unit itself). Avoid having to take things apart to get to code when installing.

I've been changing out all out switches and adding smart switches and cameras and smoke/fire detectors with your products. I have to do it piece by piece to spread out the costs but I like how it all works together

The dimmer is not much bulkier than the non-smart dimmer it replaced. Easy to set up (but my wiring was already set for the extra neutral connection) I had it in the wall within 10 minutes. As soon as I connected it to our wi-fi, Alexa picked it up and added it to routines automatically, surprising after the difficulty I had getting the new 3-way switch installed at the same time in another room to do the same, manually. I have another dimmer, just deciding where to use it and I will probably buy more.

This switch works great as all Wemo products I have purchased. The only wrinkle was getting Alexa to recognize the new device. with a little trial and error and help from the internet I was up and running in no time. One negative review comment was that the light switch did not fade out when turning off the light. This is not true there is a toggle in the Wemo app to set for fade out. Great switch and easy to install.

This product is has more issues with staying connected to Wi-Fi than the pervious generation. I learned not to connect to a dual band network. It was more complicated to set up the prior gen. But it was easier to select a Wi-Fi with that gen. This one, I think, is on my dedicated IOT 2.4 ghz network but it has disconnected three times since purchase.

Great product, but when i tried to add new switches to my old system the two wouldnt work together on one application. 1st generation and second have different ways to connect and once you have the application updated, it was not possible for me to combine the two together.

Difficult to connect with Alexa. My other Wemo devices were found easily by Alexa. The dimmers have still not been found, which defeats the purpose of why I purchased them.

These have the most horrible Android app, both for installation and for use. Physical installation was clear - great instructions. Setup using the Android app was a frustrating and complicated process. Did three of these in a row. Ended up having to force stop and clear cache between each setup. Now that they are set up they only occasionally show up and work in the app. Trying to use a Google Assistant routine or command only works about fifty percent of the time. Been installed three days and I've had to press the reset button on each switch (flashing red lights) at least once if not twice since installation.
