WEN 16-inch Variable Speed Scroll Saw with Easy-Access Blade Changes, 3922

This saw seems great! It was easy to set up and is the perfect size for my small art studio/office. I love that nearly everything is adjustable to really customize whatever it is you're working on. I haven't had the opportunity to fully test it's capabilities yet but I look forward to giving it a try.

The 2 direction blade without having to change anything other than the direction of the blade makes this saw nice for the price. It is like all WEN products i have tried though - under powered, but knowing that going into the purchase you should not be surprised by it or give a bad rating cause it is common knowledge about these products, if you take your time it cuts great with no problems at all.

Got this saw as a first time scroller and was really pleased with the results. Did a lot of cutting on 3/4" oak and it did just fine. It's a little "jumpy" if you don't have it well anchored, but does fine if you do. Love the 2-direction blade feature. It really saved the day on my project as I was able to cut 22" pieces in continuous cut. I would caution not to over-tension the arm. I broke an ear off the lower blade holder, but WEN replaced it under warranty quickly and with no hassle. It's not the most convenient for using plain end blades, but for the money it's worth a little hassle. Pin end blades are a breeze.

I had never used a scroll saw but wanted to try it rather than a jigsaw that I'd been using for a project. It was super easy to use. I've used Wen products before and they've always been good

The worst I've ever tried. Yeah I wouldn't recommend this for anyone.

I bought one of these scroll saws. It came with a pin blade installed and an extra pin blade and an unpinned blade with a allen wrench. In less than 5 minutes I read the manual that came with it and learned that you can use either type of blade with this saw. The only problem with someone not being able to understand the instructions would be if the person were illiterate. Anyone who can read and get a general grasp of the instructions should have no problem!

Good saw for any one even for first time scroll saw users i have been scroll sawing for ten years and love the wen scroll saw easy to use and was a very good deal for a low cost saw .I would recommend it to any one easy blade change very quiet and fun to use .

It was a well made product for a person starting to learn how to scroll but I found the art of using the scroll saw took some learning and patience, something I was not willing to invest my time to learn. I retuned the saw but as I stated at the start I feel the product was well made and reasonably priced and would recommend it to anyone who would like to learn how to scroll.
