WEN saws are Excellent saws for the price.
This saw does not have a battery. It is a corded chainsaw. I own several WEN saws that I purchased through Walmart .com. All of the saws still work as when new., after many hours of cutting trees. At times I stretch out drop cords over 200 feet and still cut with no problems. I recommend the WEN brand to anyone.

Powerful chainsaw reasonably convenient to use.
Obtained it for both tree trimming %26 cutting down trees. Actually for trimming, 14" or 16" would be better as would be lighter on ladder easier to handle. But cutting down trees, need extra power of 18" %26 sometimes the extra length is needed. Wen has good power %26 seems to cut well. Built sturdy to last, time will tell. Did all I required plus no cantankerous pull starts.

I haven't really used this enough to give it a five star review or even to review it yet but so far this seems to be a pretty good chainsaw it's very powerful I like the oiling system I like the chain tightening system. No tools required to tighten the chain. We'll see how long it lasts.

Beyond all of my expectations.
I purchased this because a tree fell in my backyard and my gas chainsaw was getting its fuel hoses replaced and being tuned up. The saw has plenty of power, much more than I expected. It did everything I would use my gas chainsaw for. I don't cut firewood anymore, I can't say I'd use this saw to cut firewood, but I won't say it's not capable of that too. Yeah, I'm impressed.

Good chainsaw
High quality chainsaw. Haven't used it many hours yet. The chain slackens rather quickly, but it's a new chain. Cuts very well.

Perfect for Home trimming
I was impressed that an electric chainsaw can do what it does. It is not something to use in the logwoods by no means but it works perfect for what it is intended for.
