Out of the box I couldn't get the battery to take a charge but after a few tries the battery charger light stopped blinking red and became a steady red light which means it's charging. After the first charge the battery only lasted about an hour but after that it took a full charge and a couple days later with quite a bit of use it's still full so if you're battery doesn't take a charge right out of the box take it in and out of the charger a couple times and in and out if the impact pulling the trigger a few times and eventually it'll begin to take a charge. This impact is probably the smoothest impact I've used, and I've used Makita and DeWalt impacts for years so that's saying a lot. The tool has a good weight to it and feels really good in the hand and comfortable to use. The quality is up there with the big name brands and puts most of them to shame. For the price you really can't go wrong especially since it comes with a charger and a battery. Great impact to have in the shop

It's ok for light duty.
It was brand new.....but was in the box since 2021 and the battery wouldn't charge. Old stock.
