i like the versatility of the item, I can take it to the work site and attach to my truck/ or attach to customer table / with vacuum inlet. It works just as well as my workshop unit.

I've used this a lot more than I was expecting to. I really appreciate that it can be secured to my bench.

Purchased this to sand down some intricate ornaments I cut. Worked really well. I ordered replacement spindles at the same time and the assortment was perfect

It's great for smaller sanding jobs, love the versatility of using it handheld or clamping it to a bench.

This is a smaller version of the bench top oscillating spindle sanders, at a fraction of their cost. So far, I've used it on 2 small projects, and I am very pleased. It clamps to the workbench in seconds, with the included clamps. The spindles and sandpaper are very easy and quick to change. The sandpaper sleeves are available online for less than $1 each. It is very good at sanding, without being too aggressive. I thought the work surface would be too small, but so far, it hasn't been an issue. The only negative is the on-off switch, which is a little tricky to get to the locked-on position, at first. Overall, it's an incredible bargain, if you are a frugal woodworker, like me.

This is as good as the Triton model which looks just like it and cost three times as much.

Variable speed is nice, you can hold in your hand to work on large projects or clamp it to a work bench for small projects. I like it a lot. Sanding sleeves go on easily.

For woodworking on small, detailed pieces, this is a great spindle sander. If you use a scroll saw, do intarsia projects, or just want a great spindle sander for finish work this does it. I am mounting this right next to the scroll saw for fast easy sanding of small pieces. Don't think that it's small size is a drawback, it has plenty of power, well built, variable speed. Walmart has a great price, and if you look on line, this Wen sander is the same model as other brands, priced at over $120, at wood specialty stores. Excellent product, excellent shopping experience with Walmart!

Loving this portable spindle sander so far. At only $55, it's a great place to start when you need a spindle sander and don't have lots of room for larger machines. It's quite heavy which usually equals quality, and it's also quite powerful. The variable power control seems smooth throughout the entire power band and is a nice addition. It does have a vacuum port(which I haven't hooked up yet.). I have been using this mounted to a table in my shop and I don't really have any complaints. It does come with 4 different size sanding drums; however, the only thing that would have made this better is if it could use the 3” diameter drums and the regular 4 1/2” long drums like the larger units do. The 3” drums are a bit hard to find. Have to order the “Big Horn” brand on Amazon or Ebay. If not for that, it would have been an easy 5 stars. If you need a spindle sander and don't want to spend big bucks and/or just don't need the larger units, then grab this one from Wen and you will like it.

Box was taped as if it had been returned. I went to use it for the first time and discovered that the additional hardware was missing. It came with one spindle and one piece of sandpaper.
