This was the same price as Amazon. The reason I purchased it from Walmart was I have a Rakuten account and got cash back. Otherwise I would have purchased from Amazon. The shipping was delayed and it didn't arrive on time.

Well built, runs smoothly......
I like the build quality and that this benchtop lathe is robust, weighing 137 lb., which is important with a dynamic machine to dampen vibration. The variable speed is a great feature. I've not turned anything as of yet, but I believe this lathe will suit my hobby purposes just fine.

HONEST
Well after un-boxing and turning it on NOTHING happened. after calling the support number, they told me to take out the brushes and re-install, this worked for about a week then stopped
