WEN 6.5-Ton Electric Log Splitter with Stand

After assembly and it standing ,the splitter works flawlessly. It's a little heavy, and a couple of the nuts were challenging to get started. But overall it was exactly what I was hoping

overall works great easy to put together but a lot off loose bolts and some came off but were still in the box from shipping it. did not install the stand for it just using it with the small stand there were some bent parts had to straighten them but it works great

Works amazing! Say can only do up to 10 inch but I've done 14 no problem! Makes sure u get a 12 gauge heavy duty extension cord and keep it at 25ft for 100% power also buy an all season brand of hydraulic fluid as well because stuff that come with it is suppose to work down to 40F so do yourself a favor and just get all season and won't have to worry about! Great product otherwise and high recommend the WEN foot pedal with it max of $15 extra worth it for the extra hand!

This log splitter works great! But also buy the WEN foot controlled switch to make operating the splitter even easier. I had to take down about two dozen dead standing pine trees on my property, and once I bucked them up the WEN log splitter made quick work of all of it. Not one hiccup! The stand is stable and puts the splitter at a good work height. Way less bending. And for under $300 it is worth every penny! I bought a cheap gas grill cover to keep it covered because I must store it outside until the next time I need it.

we started buying split wood, well some of it is pretty heavy. so now it can be split down to a manageable size.

If you dont expect it to do what at full sized gas powered splitter youll be happy. Overall did 95% of what I needed. dragging across the yard is kind of difficult. wish it had bigger wheels.

We use wood to heat our barn at home, but the big splitter its a gas powered unit. Very heavy to move around or transport. Also wood heat 2nd home at the lake but worry that its not secure, only there a few days a week.. Bought for hubbys birthday. He was very happy how it handles the recommended size logs. So far we are very pleased.

Oh my Lanta splitting wood has become so easy

I do not like having to turn machine vertically to check hydroylic(SP) fluid. It doesn't quite taek a 21 inch log, but over all i like it a lot

delivery and condition were excellent. splitting is smooth. just one problem with operation. requires two hands. one on the power switch and one on the lever. almost a two person operation. expecially for small logs.
