once I assembled it (which was easy) my life changed for the better! Everybody want to be my friend and include me in their party's and cookouts. The only negative was being a incredibly happily married man as I am my wife doesn't seem to like all the attention I'm getting from the ladies it's almost like I bought that cologne I see advertised on TV all the time! It's a great tool especially for the price but if you're happily married don't let people know you have it! The last time women a reaction like this was way back when I was in Junior High School and bought my Faber Castell 2/83n Slide Rule which made me feel like a member of the Beatles.
for years I used to set up tables and horses to use my chop saw. never realizing how great it was to have a real stand. this stand is amazing. it's lightweight easy to use storable. I can actually carry it with my chop. saw all together. just a great product.
Wen makes this miter saw stand model number MSA750W. The same product can be found elsewhere model number MSA750T. I contacted Wen to find out the differences and the rep said the models were identical with the W on the end designated for Walmart. The difference online is the walmart model is over $60 cheaper. This is one solid miter saw stand that you will not regret buying!!
easy to setup and very sturdy
I don’t know why some reviews say this is cheaply made. It’s very sturdy and it’s going to make cutting crown molding so much easier.
Great product. Haven't used yet with saw running so not sure on the stability yet but Im sure it can be manipulated.
excellent price.
It works very well, it is a little tricky to fold up and fold back down with just one person. For the price it's a really good buy. I have a Dewalt Sliding Compound Miter Saw and it fits well.
The stand seems relatively solid and the adjustable foot on one leg is nice, although probably not necessary as the legs and stand are flexible enough that you can wiggle it around to get all 4 legs firmly on the floor without the adjustment. As one reviewer noted, when you snug up the mounting brackets, it does tip the tool upward slightly on the front. You could add washers under the back legs of your tool, but I found that the roller guides could be tipped within the collar enough to match the level of the tool without any shims. Just need to pay attention to that when you snug up the height of the rollers. I did have to shave some plastic off the supplied cord end in order to get it firmly seated on the triple receptacle around the metal framework. I'm not sure the built in outlet will be all that useful. I did find that the lever handles for the leg locking spring clips would not pull the clip back quite far enough to disengage. I had to press the spring button slightly to unlock the legs even after squeezing the handle. A thin washer over the pin underneath the hinge point took care of that. Too thick a washer allowed the handle to pull the spring pin too far, letting it fall out of line with the hole in the frame. Not a big deal, but a minor design flaw that can be easily fixed. Overall, I'm happy with the assembly and first use of the stand. A good choice for the money.
The stand is well built and will hold up well. The only thing that needed to be modified was the saw mounting hardware which caused an otherwise well made saw stand to slide around. not only were the screws too thin they were so long you keep catching clothing on them. I replaced the the screws with 5/16 by 1 1/4 long stove bolts with flanged lock nuts. I needed to grind the heads down a bit so they fit between the plastic pieces in the front. and filed the front slots slightly. now it works perfectly. took off one star for the need for modification.
