WEN Products 16” Electric Chainsaw, 12A Corded Electric Chainsaw, Auto-Oiling System

I like that it's lightweight and it cuts smoothly. It doesn't cut as fast as a Stihl 16” gas saw, but it cuts well and will cut anything a 16” gas saw will cut….Keep the bar oil filled and the cutting chain off dirt and it will stay sharp a long time….The power level is perfect for it's size and it doesn't trip my panel breaker like other electrics I've used……It's easy to use, clean, and to adjust. My photos of cutting large pines with this Wen is recent, we are clearing a property we've purchased….. One will need an adequate length extension cord, a 14 gauge cord is adequate for this saw.

When I couldn't get too the store to get gas for a gas chainsaw this electric the same job that I needed done it cut right through a huge log. So if you have the same issues I suggest you to order one and allow FedEx to deliver it not crazy crappy UPS which can't deliver packages correctly. Yeah UPS drivers can't deliver correctly.

this chainsaw was a pleasure to work with. as long as the chain is put on right it will be a breeze. only issue i have as others stated is the oil leaking when its stored, so a good piece of cardbord should always be underneath it . am not sure where its leaking from, but am willing to keep it. good buy

This is corded so has no battery life which is why I only gave that question one star. I really like the feature to tighten the chain on the outside of the unit. I've already used it to cut down a small tree that was damaged by a recent storm and it worked great.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first one lasted over 10 years. I think they are worth the money and easy to use for cutting bigger pieces of firewood.

Absolutely ripping through my rounds of pine. Although I did read the instructions on how to assemble and adjust the chain. . . weird, I know! No issues whatsoever with the chain falling off!

For a corded electric chainsaw("16")under 60.00 including tax, this Wen is a beast! First, to most people with this saw who has problems with the chain coming off, I say, FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS !! I made sure I followed the directions closely including checking and adjusting chain tension as directed. My outcome? ZERO problems. I fell a dead cedar tree 16" diameter and cut A LOT of fire wood. Never had any problems. This saw is perfect for my needs! Thank you Wen!! :)

Cuts through thick branches so easily it's unreal. I am 52 years old and have a lot of hand pain and this was no bother to use. It's a little tricky to assemble but if I could do it anyone can. Only downside I would say is the chain tightener does seem like it's made from very cheap plastic. That being said it does the job. I like that it's corded because it makes it very light compared to gas powered and I don't have to worry about batteries running out before I get a job done.

This corded chainsaw had part made of soft plastic that would be made of steel in other chainsaws. It was a dangerous high powered chainsaw. You could get seriously hurt using this. The chain bolt that holds the chain on is made of plastic. The bolt to tighten the chain saw is made of plastic. This thing could be deadly.

This saw will not cut straight lines. It is unbalanced on the left side with the motor so anytime you make a cut, it will start turning to the right. If you try keeping it straight, the bar will bog down. I do not recommend this if you're interested in making flat cuts.
