it's exactly what I needed when fldoing custom fabrication. The variable speed is very helpful. I recommend buying the different sanding grit belts if you do fabrication like I do.

I have had one of these for years and recently picked up another one as a backup. they are very handy for getting into very tight places shaping carving Etc

Good Value Detail Sander
It works well for sanding in tight spaces or on smaller parts and details. Power seems adequate for the sander. It's pretty straightforward to operate as well. Good value for a detail belt sander.
