I use this for cutting thread. I bought it because it matched my other westcott cutters/tools (same color) , but this one is a little hard to use. I can't use the finger holder. It feels weird so I use it like you would use a stapler... if that makes sense. I also use a rubber band to keep the blades close together like a scissor so I dont risk getting sliced when reaching for it. Definitely needs to be redesigned.

These are lightweight and easy to use. The blade cuts smooth and was exactly what was needed to finish the project.

BUY SOMETHING ELSE!!!
The tip of this scissors does not come together, doesn't cut. Hard to use. Comes in a package that guarantees it cannot be returned. Buy something else.

No. Just no.
Not sharp enough for thread, but pointy enough to hurt small people. I can't recommend these for embroidery or children. Very poorly made, and dangerous. Try something else.

Waste of money
The screws on the blade keeps the blade from working. It hangs up. I won't purchase this again.

Purchased these for cutting edges of rag quilting. Does NOT cut! The tips criss-cross therefore, the point will not cut!
