I have large hands. For some reason the famous tool store scissors are a pain to use. It's like they made them for kids or something. These scissors are comfortable! The quality is actually pretty darn good for items these days. They do not compare to the old Wiss scissors, but what do you expect! Wiss scissors of the quality I had 25 years ago would probably cost $50 or more now days. For the price, you cant beat the quality of these scissors. They beat the famous tool store scissors hands down. These are sharp and cut well. They are thicker than the metal you find in other budget scissors. I would rate these about halfway in between your normal budget scissors and quality scissors like Wiss. I feel these scissors will hold up to moderate to fairly heavy use. I don't think you can beat these if you factor in quality vs price. I have seen scissors in this price range that can't cut a piece of paper well. They are loose and dull. These scissors are sharp, tight, and well constructed. They are a huge step up from the other budget scissors. They don't even come close in comparison!

Great pair of general use scissors. Have one in kitchen and one in basement. Easy to grip. I use them constantly so took out of junk drawer and keep in crackled glass on counter.

Three sharp and well built heavy duty scissors, with room for my large fingers. They will cut a tea bag string, or chop open that thick cardboard and plastic package things come packed in. One in the kitchen, One in my office and one with the tools in the basement. With these three, I don't believe I will ever need to buy scissors again. Arrived in 4 days

These are good all purpose scissors. Would not recommend for someone who sewed a lot. But for every day household use they are a good product. I use them on paper, cardboard. fabric %26 plastic tape, fabric for crafts.

Great pair of inexpensive scissors. I'm sure there are better shears out there for more specific tasks, but for an everyday set of scissors, you would be hard pressed to find anything better. From the very comfortable handles, solid sharp blades, tension adjustable nut, to the fact that they cut smoothly and accurately through almost anything! All this at a very reasonable, well, great price! Get a pair today, then you will say "That man writing this review was right!"

Excellent scissors with an unbelievably low price. Buy extras. One for the kitchen. One to keep in the glove box. And one in your work room/study.

The scissors are sharp and easy to use. I have a small hand and it's the perfect size.

I left my favorite pair back in Texas so I ordered these (on-sale!) and found them to be just as good as my favorite pair! I needed them to cut felt for the stockings I make and need my cuts to be clean and precise.

These did not fit my small, adult hand very well and they are not as sharp as I hoped. They are well constructed.
