Westcott Heavy Duty Carbo Titanium 7" Straight Scissors (16448)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got these scissors the first of June. I am so glad I got them. My quilt club makes blankets for Farm Friends and we cut fleece. Anyone who has ever ever cut fleece knows how fast your scissors get dull. After making and cutting many blankets these scissors are still sharp. They are heavy duty scissors....so I wanted them to cut the fleece. I cannot tell you how satisfied I am with these scissors. If you are a crafter they are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't wait to get these scissors. I was looking for a new fabric scissors and these made the CUT! They give a nice clean cut and glide across both paper and fabric with ease. The grip is very comfortable, but the handle feels a bit heavy after using it for a while. If there is one thing I would comment against is the white handle. In the short time I used it the handle already showed wear.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Luv the comfort and cutting ease of this pair of 9" Carbon Titanium scissors. Used it to cut assorted fabrics, felts, various fleeces, toweling materials, plastic foam sheets (adhesive backed and non), assorted household plastic bottles and containers, plastic canvas, and 5ml laminated cardstock for concentrated periods of time. Am involved with crafting and am an avid volunteer work with adolescents and adults year round. Felt comfortable using them with special needs children and adult of varying abilities, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not quite sure what my wife is doing with them but we seem to go through scissors quite regularly, either for dullness or shear breakage. These are definitely sharp. They seem sturdy enough to pass the test of time, though I'm not sure if they've ever had my wife test them. Having to use them to cut the matted hair of our Newfoundland doesn't help, where you really need something super sharp. Definitely need to be careful with these but for a 9" pair of scissors, you won't be disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These scissors are a must have for anyone that cuts a variety of materials. The handle is so comfortable to use. The blades being strong and sharp, I didn't have any extra stress on my hand cutting through thick materials. Cuts with ease!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Ti blades easily cut thru fabric, plastics, paper, cardboard and rubber tubing. Soft grip handles are comfortable and help create a controlled straight cut. The 9' length is easy to work with too. The special coating on these helps prevent stains, scratches, rust since the coating is 8X harder than untreated stainless steel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this scissor less than a week. Tried it out immediately on cutting heavily rolled up packing paper which Westcott uses. Was surprisingly effective with minimal effort. Leaves a sense of strength versus typical 8 inch scissors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received the Westcott Carbo Titanium scissors and my first impression is that they are solid, and well-built. These are right handed scissors, and they fit perfectly in my hand. I immediately tried them on the solid cardboard box that they were shipped in, and the scissors cut the box quickly and without any effort. The scissors are well constructed with a removable screw and nut, which is a feature of better blades. They appear that they will last a very long time, and I will continue to put them to use. This review will be updated as I continue to use the product more and find out about this pair of scissors capacity...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sharp and strong scissors to cut through (almost) anything! Used them on thick cardboard, those plastic blister/clamshell containers and outdoor canvas fabric ... no issues at all. The ergonomic handle is a bit big for my hands (I'm 5'4'' with smaller hands), but comfortable enough that I have no issues using them.
