This paper cutter is light duty, but it is so handy. It is lightweight, but it cuts several pages at a time with no problems. The guide lines make it easy to measure and easy to avoid mistakes. The price is right, it performs well, and I definitely recommend it.
This product is inexpensive and perfect for simple straight cuts! I use it for making bookmarks and cards. So much better than trying to cut with scissors as I usually cannot cut a straight line to save my life but this cutter instantly helped me achieve cleaner creations!
I saw this item while watching crafting videos!! It absolutely works great. Who doesn't like a straight line? The cut is precise. The sharpness of the blade is perfect. The size is great, it fits in my craft cabinet well. Read the directions for ease of use.
This product works really great. I got it originally just for paper and card stock and it cuts great it also is able to cut thin Balsa wood. It leaves like a nice cut mark and then you can just put a little pressure in. It'll break in the line so great for small crafts.
I'm so glad I bought this westcott kleenearth 12" recycled plastic paper cutter with two small blades, and a ruler. this has helped me do my cutt outs with construction paper, I've made 24 book marks for my daughter's classroom as a Easter gift with stickers. I really recommend this product for ease of use, for home, work, for your crafts. just love it because it makes my life a little easier.
I have one of these that isn't broken. The cutter just went dull and I bouught it in 2015; I got my money's worth and I will continue to use it to trim laminating pouches as it still works for that, but it leaves shreds along the cut line when cutting paper. I frequently cut my digital art to make things and I needed another Westcott. Only brand I trust. A paper trimmer is a game changer doing what U do. I can't cut a straight line to save my life. Westcott does it for me. Ypu re gpnna get 10_ good years of heavy use out of one of these and I do not do reviews for financial gain. I have no reason to steer anyone wrong. I like to help.
I bought this to cut thick watercolor paper to smaller pieces. It's very good in that it doesn't take up much space. It's lightweight and easily portable. The blade cut very nicely. There were no indications that I can replace the blades if needed, however.
I wanted it to cut 140 lb. watercolor paper. It does that quite well. I've been able to cut three layers of 140 lb paper without any problem. needless to say, it works just fine on regular weight paper, such as copy paper and regular card stock paper.
This was the worst paper cutter I've ever used in my life. I thought Wescott was a good brand, but I was mistaken. the blades were terrible dull straight out of the box and the actual line to cut was hard to visualize. Overall really, very, very bad design and even worse quality blades.
There is no mention of there being two blades attached, or why, or how to remove one. The cutting arm is not aligned properly, so you can't rely on the grid or edges to cut a straight line. It's also difficult to line paper up where you need it cut because there isn't any sort of guide outside of the grid and edges.
