I love it. All I had to do was to screw it in and it was working. Price is great for those of us with no skills.

We live in an older home and it doesn't not have a light switch for the mudroom. So, instead of hiring an electrician to install a switch, we bought this in hopes that it would detect when when entered the back door. It works perfectly. Now there's no more blindly scooting down the 10ft path and around the corner to the kitchen switch that is wired to the fixture. With the 10 min cut off, we dont have to think about wasting electricity by leaving a lamp or hardwired light on. $13 well spent!! Remember this is a 120° detection. Be sure to point it toward the direction that you want it to detect. There is a 360° available for about $20.

I use this in my walk-in pantry closet - face the sensor towards the door and it works great. Allows me to grab everything I need while not having to worry about turning the switch on or off! This is one of those items like automatic headlights which until you have them you don't really realize how great they are.

Don't expect a very long life from kinds like this! I am on my third one (not many alternatives). LMake sure nothing else obstructing the sensor close or in distance.

This is suppose to be a motion-detection light, but on a hot day or night it just seems to stay on all the time.

I bought two and one failed out of the box. The working one works fine, but it only has a 120 degree field of view for the sensor. To point the field where you want it, you have to unscrew the assembly from the light socket until the sensor is pointed where you want it. I went with a First Alert brand for the one that failed. For a few dollars more you get 360 degree field of view for the sensor.

We bought this light control for our garage and it worked at first when we would open the door leading from the garage into the house but after a few days it stopped working. If we turned off the light switch and then turned it back on, it would work again for a day or two but never more than that and it never did work when opening the garage door.

It will not work under glass.

I installed it and if you touch it the light will turn on. I have the sensor pointed at the garage door. I can open and close the door and the light won't even turn on. Bogus sensor light if you ask me.
