The Westek MLC166BC Indoor 120° Motion Activated Light Control with Adjustable Off Times works very well to control the light in my basement whenever I enter the room. It stays on for a set amount of time and shuts off automatically.

Motion activated light
This works exactly as I expected. As soon as I walk into my laundry room, the light turns on. Light turns off 4 minute after I leave. (Different time settings) Family used to leave the laundry room light on 18 or more hours a day. Now it only comes on when needed. Very responsive; the cats set it off.

Good for the garage
I was happy to find these. I am giving them as stocking Christmas gifts to family members for use in their garages. I have some of another brand in my own garage. I have not tested these as they are gifts, but am hopeful my family members will make good use of them.
