Worked exactly as advertised. The sensitivity for the motion sensor worked very well. It is placed on the side of the house.
This light illuminates a dark area outside of my home very nicely when motion is detected then after a short period of detecting noo motion, it goes off tip conserve energy. I'm happy with the item.
Put it in the entrance to the building. Works great! Now I can see to unlock the interior door.

Love it! I live a lone and wanted some extra security. This was perfect, easy to install with a simple twisting in the unit to the socket. Add you favorite light and go from there.
I have a dark back patio and every time I walk around the back, I could not see anything and had to guess mostly where the door nob is so I can unlock it. I used the solar lights, but they did not give me much light at all. So I put in this product which was inexpensive and easy to install. I just took out my floodlight and put the product in. As you see the picture, it is on the left where the shinny part is. My only problem was that my flood light was going straight up. So I had to adjust the motion sensor so I could screw it into the Light socket and get it past the wall. But once I did that, I screwed the light bulb in the right side of what you see in the picture. I now leave my light switch on and when I walk around the back of the house, the flood light turns on. It is exactly what I wanted.
I wrangled with my husband long enough for this technology to be developed! I read reviews on several screw-in sensor sockets and bulbs before buying this one. This light-controller had good reviews. I wasn't looking for something that has an extensive range - just enough to turn on and offer visibility as I head from the carport through the yard to the house. It works perfectly! If you install it during the day, keep in mind that it only works after dark.

It's easy to install...a little less direction adjustment than I would like but works great
IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME, JUST WOULD NOT WORK SO I RETURNED BOTH.
