They just don't die !
I have built numerous systems using these drives. A few times they have been placed in systems with less than ideal conditions. I have never had a problem with these drives and I will always use them as my go to drives when I need a drive that has to have a lot of storage and be extremely reliable !

We've found WD to be some of the most reliable drives, and a good value. Definitely recommended.

What is there to say when it comes to WD HDD
I like the 5 year warranty as that is important to me. I want more storage space to handle my data and these drives appear to be better than the black caviars and of course offer the larger size and the HE based gas to allow larger sizes. The only problem for desktop computers is they are much noisier than a black caviar drive, but that is the drawback of using a drive meant for a datacenter and not home consumers computers.
