I recently purchased this hard drive, and so far it has been working very well. Setup was simple, transfer speeds are solid, and it has handled my files without any issues. At this point, I'm very satisfied with the performance and reliability.
This was exactly what I wanted and needed for my PC back up. It is small, easy to install and it has enough memory for my needs. Recommended.
It's a wonderful device at a great savings. I highly recommend it. I wanted a 5 tb device but they were not available at the time I was ordering. Great little external drive.
An excellent external drive. Compact size and so far so good regarding the quality.
Have used Western Digital backup drives for many years. Great item for a good price
This item is amazing!!! very little and compact..not much space taken..the price was amazing!!! using it on my ps4 right now!! Easy plug and play...no software required..Highly recommend this to anyone who has a ps4 or Xbox one.
Fake product. You will lose your data that you have saved. This product is far from the quality WD provided in the past. DO NOT MAKE THIS MISTAKE. Made with the worst quality material.
This is ridiculous. It broke down with no warning just 3 months after the 2-year warranty expired ... !!! There no stress whatsoever. I didn't move for the entire time, no duat, no high temperatures. No unplugging. Nothing !!! I have other disks (Toshiba, Samsung & Seagate) that are 5+ years old and they work impeccanly under the same conditions. This is completely unacceptable and I AM DEFINITELY ÐONE WITH BUYING ANY WD PRODUCTS. By all means, take your time ... You have plenty of time to get your act together until you lose all your other customers and get labeled as the company producing the worst disks ever and robbing your customers of their money, data and time ...
Started malfunctioning in less than a month. I have been using WD discs for decades. I have owned a passport portable drive and using it all the time since approx. 15 years now. The latest offerings by WD over the last 3-5 years (and I've bought many) are TERRIBLE and avoidable at best in terms of quality and reliability. I am looking to switch all my storage solutions away from WD. Beware!!!
This disk is totally unreliable 2 months after warranty with a very scrupulous and gentle use suddenly clicking of the death and no more recognized. Purchased to replace a 10 years old 2TB USB driver of another brand because I needed more storage space and the old is overused and way past its MTTF and I feared that it could have failed in any moment: the old is still perfectly working, this is dead and no way to try to recover anything without professional equipment.
