Westin 2005-2017 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab R5 Nerf Step Bars - Black

Look great! Just the right height for an easy step into and out of the cab. Black is a good color with the dark grey truck. Installation went fine. I would recommend a click type torque wrench - my old time beam type was hard to see when fastening step to brackets. Otherwise no issues.

I really wish I could recall the Real Truck phone representative that walked be through a few different scenarios and options, but he was very helpful as this was the perfect fit for my 2024 GMC HD 2500. It comes from the factory quite high off the ground and these work perfectly to get in and out. Assembly was a breeze. It was easier than putting a baby crib together. Took me 90 minutes to do both sides without any assistance. (Thanks YouTube!) Note: they are aluminum and not the old steel nerf bars. So if you're off roading the high center on something they will bend. But all in all, they look great and so for so good.

Look good, fit as advertised. Seem sturdy.

Delivery was prompt and free. I installed these bars on a 2024 Ram 3500. The finish of these bars is matte black and it goes really well with the midnight edition of my truck. The bars are sturdy, and the install was easy after I figured out the problem I had with the instructions. To me it looked like they had a mirrored image of one of the parts in there. At the time of install, that's what led me to thinking I had a wrong part in the package. Once I figured that out, the install was easy. It took me about 1hr. to get it done. Take a few minutes to sort the bolts, nuts, washers and and other parts. from there, just grab what you need for each step and bolt it on. Make sure not to tighten all of it down until every part is installed. After you're done, don't forget to enjoy your handywork and the good looks of your ride :))

Ordered the R5 steps for my 2021 F250 Crew Cab. Box arrived on time as promised. Read the simple instructions and completed the installation in less than an hour. It's that easy.

Very happy with looks and functionality. Width is perfect as you can step sideways and basically foot width and extends back just far enough to reach into very corner of bed which is great to access tie down hook. Very light weight but surprisingly feels strong when stepping on. I think the instructions could have been a bit easier laid out - there were pictures all over the place but I wish it would have been clearer. Took me closer to 2 hours as I got two mount brackets backwards (the instructions should be more clear which is center, rear...) and bracket covers - tough to fit a socket in to tighten so had to use box wrenches which is slow going.

Very pleased with product . Only thing I don't like is how low they are . They install 3-4'' lower than factory boards. Is there another mounting bracket that might be used ?

The nerf bars mount too low compared to others, thus taking away ground clearance and making it look a bit odd/less attractive.
