These nerf bars look great. The installation was fairly easy, but be sure to pay close attention to the directions for installing the bracket bolts to the body by the doors.. If the bolts fall inside the body, it may take considerable time and effort to get them back out! I spent about 2 hours installing them, including the time spent retrieving a bolt that slipped down inside the body. The dealer wanted $400 for the nerf bars and 2 hours of labor, times 2 for 2 mechanics, at $200/ hr for a total of $1200. I did it myself for less than $300 total, thanks to RealTruck! ?????????

The center support brackets for the Westin E-Series Stainless Steel 3" Nerf Bars are not symmetrical. The right, 90 degree angle on the driver side center support bracket faces forward. The right, 90 degree angle on the passenger side center support bracket faces backward. The center support brackets should be redesigned and modified so that both right, 90 degree angles face forward. The right, 90 degree angle on the passenger side that faces backward collects more dirt and mud.

Love the design and ease of mounting great units, however I had purchased my first set in 2003 and that was in CA had I known I was going to keep my truck as long as I did I would have gotten stainless, but I have them now the first pair rust out now that I live in MN.

The best price anywhere. Some people complained about getting scratched or dented nerf bars, Igot the optional insurance. My order was delivered fast and in great condition. The directions were very simple and the pictures were clear. Ihad both nerf bars installed in under 20 minutes, by myself. I will be back for more.

These bars are nice overall, installation and instruction was very nice, my only issue is the plastic pad on the driver side is loose from a faulty gripsert. This is one of the things I didn't expect on a new set. I need to get a replacement fastener amd repair that so I domt lose the pad on the road. Other than that they are nice and look good. Not happy to need to repair a brand new bar out of the box but that's today's world. No quality control for anything you buy today.

Not useable as a step. It mounts to close to the truck body to be able to get your foot on it safely. They do look good & were fairly easy to install. Price was OK & the quality is good, but just unusable as a step.
