Westinghouse 10,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner with Remote, 3-in-1 Operation, Rooms Up to 450 sq ft

We purchased this unit to cool our three season room and it works beautifully. We spend most of our day in this room in the summer. We can now leave our sliding glass door open without worrying about heating up the house. This makes the cat very happy though he'd never let us know it. . The vent hose was easy to install. However, the water drain hose didn't seem to work as advertised. But no problem: we simply unhooked the vent hose (it's a very easy step) and wheeled the unit out onto the deck and opened the drain. The unit is on wheels so moving it is simple and easy.

Easily put together in less then 1 hour. Completely cooled the downstairs of my 2 bedroom apartment. Couldn't be happier sitting in my chair watching the NY Yankees game, not having to use a fan to blow around hot air!!! Very satisfied with product!!!

I have a small space to use it in, so it works great for me! I don't think it's as advertised though because it does say 6,000 btu on the label rather than the 10,000 that is on the headline but I may just not have understood everything correctly. Works great though and I love the remote!

Works well for what it is. This is NOT a window unit or central air. If you can situate it close to you, it will help, I could not, so I have a fan blowing in front of it. Regardless of what brand you buy, have some good tape on hand. The exhaust hose would not stay attached for me until I taped it up.

Advertised to work at 10,000BTU the device states directly on it that its cooling capacity is 6,000 BTU which is nearly half of what was advised. It also has to be installed where the exhaust goes outside. It is not very portable at all.

claims to be a 10000 Btu AC but actually a 6000 btu, which does not cover the 450 sq feet it claims but instead only covers at most 250 sq feet very disappointed. I compared to my other portable AC and this is the only one I see that is not true to its label.

Did not receive air conditioner it was sent to a similar address in New York talked to FedEx they never called back talked to Walmart customer service on number of occasions and I got belligerent responses and told me I got it when I tried to tell they sent it to wrong address. I still paid for something I didn't get

not 10,000 btu 6,000 btu from what the stickers say on product. also have to cut product to fit and doesnt include drain hose. never even used product cause of installation

Box arrived on time but it had some very smelly chemical spill on packaging. They taped a box onto the original box to hide the spill. Did not even open the box, just sent it back. Not taking a chance the wiring will go bad seeing I have no idea what was spilled onto it.
