I was skeptical about whether the brush would be sturdy enough to detangle my hair when it arrived. I was completely wrong! The brush performed exactly as intended, detangling my hair without pulling it. My hair is shoulder-length and wavy. My scalp used to be much tougher, but now, as I have aged and am diabetic, it has become more sensitive. This brush worked wonderfully for me.

I have super fine hair that loves to twist itself into knots despite being mostly straight with just a tiny amount of wave when wet (and that only after surgery. Before that, I had stick-straight hair). This is the first brush I've ever had that gets through the tangles without pulling on my scalp, which is quite sensitive. The brush takes out the tangles so well that I haven't even had to use a detangling spray before brushing. I also like the hook built into the handle which lets me hang the brush within easy reach, whether in the shower or elsewhere. I plan to get a second brush, so I'll have a spare. I saw the reviews about it breaking. So far, so good. I am careful when I brush my hair not to put too much stress on the brush, since the design (with all the openings) does seem as if it would make it fragile. But the design is also what makes it so flexible and that is what makes it a great detangling brush, so it's a trade-off. Just be gentle with it and it should last.

i don't care if it breaks, I got this for $4 but I'd pay full price again. I didn't know brushing hair didn't have to be painful until now and I'm 38.

I liked it a lot, and it worked really well, but then it just broke out of nowhere. I was brushing my daughters hair normally, and we didn't even go through a tangle, and it seemed to just fall apart. I was disappointed because up to that point, I was really enjoying the brush. It detangled my curly hair with ease.

i love the handle on it, and the brush itself was very nice.. until the handle broke off completely within a week and a half of my getting it. It's a pretty and handy hairbrush until it breaks. i didn't bother returning it, but i probably should have. i wanted one of these brushes for a year or so, and for my birthday, my sister presented me with this one she had bought from Walmart. for the time i had it, i really enjoyed using it

I personally wouldnt recomment but thay is only because after purchasing and using it the handle snapped off. while brushing my hair.

I just opened this new packaged brush. Of course, I washed it through cool water and non-harsh soap before using. This is Walmart. Dried it. Stated to brush my hair before getting ready to wash my hair. My hair is thin and has no knots, of course. I am 50 years old, and have no strength, and osteoporosis. I also wanted to use it in the shower to help with the conditioning shampoo, as it is meant for. As I was brushing my hair, it broke in three places. Hurting my head in tow.

Bought this 17 days ago and have been using it everyday. Already broke!!!! ( I have normal hair it's not thin nor thick. And it's also not curly. So I cannot believe it already broke. These are junk.

It lasted a week and broke in the same place most people had theirs broken, definitely not for all type of hair, it gets tangled in the sections of tangled hair you are trying to brush off. Way too flimsy and a little expensive.

This is not a good brush. I don't like the cutout spaces. My hair got stuck in them, and when I was brushing my hair tonight, the brush snapped into two pieces. Not a good brush
