wet n wild Mega Last The Saving Base, Never Basic

This stuff is great!!! I had a thumb nail that was cracked it had been that way for 6 months I tried other more expensive nail treatments that didn't work at all. After one week of having this on my nails the cracked nail was fixed I couldn't believe it. It also makes my nails look whiter, smoother and healthier.

This is the only nail polish product I've ever used up. With this (and not using my nails too roughly) my nail polish can last for at least a week without chipping, as opposed to maybe 3-4 days without this base coat. I like the shape of the brush -- it's flat and somewhat wide which paints my massive nails quickly without being hard to control. This product has some tint so I wouldn't recommend for using without a color layer on top if you have ridged nails, since color settles into the "valleys" more.

I wish there were more reviews before I bought this. Base turned the polish kind of rubbery and easy to peel off. The ends of my nails were splitting after using this and i don't have weak nails or anything. This has happened with other base coats too. I give up.

I would give this -10 stars if possible. I bought it mainly for ridge-filling because my nails were otherwise pretty healthy, just not as smooth as I wanted them to be. I wore this under my regular nail polish (that I've used for years with no problems) for 1 week. The whole week I thought cool, this stuff wears better than the much more expensive base polishes that I've always used. Took it off with the nail polish remover that I've always used and my nails were trashed! Peeling like they never have before, dry, splitting ends. I'm going to have to spend more to repair my poor nails than I would've spent to buy a better base coat in the first place. Hopefully they'll be okay in a few months!
