This smells AMAZINGLY FRESH!!! Put on my face just after my shower, and gave my makeup a flawless start..Literally helped my makeup last all day into very late evening. Not oily, and minimized them pores! Oh, and a little goes a long way so it'll last you! Don't let the small bottle fool you! A++++
I have dry skin and this primer feels luxurious in my face, and it smells nice. You also only need a tiny bit and it's very easy to apply, and also - very affordable!
I received this product complimentary from Influenster's summer voxbox. I was a little taken by surprise by the color, but I enjoy the scent and the hydration that the product leaves on my face. Also, this primer pairs well with the cucumber primer water! Recommended!
If you're looking for an affordable, hydrating primer that works GREAT, look no further! The cucumber scent is super refreshing, and makes it feel like you're in a posh spa while getting ready for your day. My skin felt super refreshed and smooth after application, and my pores... what pores? This primer did it's job and helped me get a super smooth makeup application without breaking the bank. Since I know this product is also CRUELTY FREE, I can feel good about what I'm using! Pro tip, make sure this is the FIRST product on your face. Wash off any overnight moisturizer you used prior to application. I received this primer complimentary to try out and review, and I am so glad this was one of my samples! Absolutely in love and this will be a permanent member of my daily makeup routine!
I was pretty excited to try this primer since it is from an affordable brand that is cruelty free! It smells like cucumbers and my skin drank it up like a glass of water. It felt so nice and was super hydrating. It smoothed my skin but didn't really blur my pores like it claims. But my makeup looked flawless for 14 hours! I will definitely continue to use this. I received this product complementary for review purposes.
So I bought this because the coconut spray smells so good and works so well I figured it was worth trying the primer. But I have to tell you the coconut scented primer smells terrible it smelled nothing like the spray. I was a little disappointed in that aspect but the smell doesn't last long once applied to your face and the primer itself worked very well under foundation. I also received this in the cucumber scented formula and that did smell quite lovely. Over all I would probably recommend the cucumber scented primer over the coconut.
I really like the cruelty-free wet n' wild Photo Focus Water Drop Primer! It has a gel consistency that made my foundation look much smoother. It has a cooling feeling that's nice for summer. I received this for free in my recent #SummerSplashVoxBox from Influenster.
The Photo Focus Primer Water spray is my absolute favorite primer, I especially adore the coconut scented spray. I thought I would try this form in the same scent and I saw some definite pros but also some cons pretty much right away. Pros: I enjoy the primer consistency; it's thicker than the spray's liquid, more like a thin gel and not a watery consistency. It spreads pretty smoothly and in a very in a thin layer so a little bit goes a long way (much like the spray). I loved that it dries down much quicker than the spray; it gets nice and tacky quickly. It also does not leak into the eyes and burn at all, which is always great. Now, the cons: the scent is COMPLETELY different. It does not smell like coconut, Banana Boat, Caribbean goodness the way the spray does. It smells very strange, artificial, and the smell of plastic or a chemical is very apparent. It's not enough to push me away from using the rest of the product but I definitely won't buy this scent again, the spray has a much more pleasant coconut scent. While I love that this dries down quicker than the spray, it gets tacky and then dries completely just as fast so you have to work swiftly. There's minimal wait time between applying this primer and then the foundation (this could also be a pro for those that get ready in a rush). Lastly, It's not as dewy as the spray. The spray is a 3-in-1 (to prime, set, refresh) and it makes ANY foundation dewy; this will give you a satin finish underneath pretty much any foundation and, obviously, you're not getting the refresh/setting spray ability with this form. Overall, this isn't terrible but I think I still prefer my spray!
I received this product for review purposes in the Summer Splash Voxbox along with the priming mist. I tried this product both alone and layered on top of the priming mist, and for me, this product isn't that great as a stand-alone item. The cream-to-gel formula is really neat, but it just seems a lot more like a moisturizer than a primer to me. I couldn't see any of the pore-filling or skin blurring effects advertised, and it just felt like I was wearing a gel moisturizer, which in some cases is a good thing- it just isn't what I expected. I did however enjoy this layered over the priming mist. The mist is a lot more of a grippy primer and sticks to my foundation well, and these two together give me a very silky-feeling, hydrated base. Personally, I wouldn't repurchase this because using it alone isn't enough for me, but if you have oily skin and need something to lock in moisture without giving you any added oiliness, this might be worth trying, especially for the price.
Weird! Starts out Green turns clear but honestly it's just not as good as others like it. I bought on sale and still not worth the money. Sorry!
