Wet n Wild Prime Focus Hydrating Primer Serum, Hydrate, 1.0 fl oz

I purchased this after seeing it reviewed and recommended by a makeup artist influencer around my age whose recommendations are almost always a hit with me, this one being point in case. Despite being in my early 40's, I still have acne-prone combination-leaning-toward-oily skin, so my face doesn't need and can't handle heavy moisturizers. But this Wet n Wild Hydrating Primer Serum hits that hard-to-achieve sweet spot for me. After cleansing, this does a GREAT job hydrating my face and helping prep my skin for makeup. The influencer said you'll see a difference in your makeup finish when you use this product underneath vs when you don't, and she's right!!! It makes my skin dewy and bouncy without weighing it down, and my foundation always seems to look more skin-like when I've applied this first. Also, I've recently found another application that works great for me - not only do I apply a thin layer (just a drop or 2 on each section of my face) as a primer, then, using the back of my hand, I add just 1 drop of this primer serum to whatever skin tint I'm using (along with a teeny squeeze of Loreal's Lumi Glotion for extra glow), mix that well before applying the mixed foundation onto my face using my fingers followed by a brush to finish blending/patting it in. Through trial and error, I've found this makes my foundation much easier to blend in and gives me the most consistently flawless-looking, glowing, skin-like foundation appearance that wears well almost all day. The fact this product is so FANTASTIC and ALSO SO AFFORDABLE - talk about a win-win!!! This primer serum has a slight fragrance if that matters to you - to me, I LOVE it - it's a very subtle/light rose scent that dissipates quickly. It's such lovely lightweight hydration and feels so refreshing with good-for-your-skin ingredients, I sometimes use this as just a dewy last step in morning skincare even on no-makeup days. I CAN'T praise this enough and have already bought 2 more bottles (even though I haven't finished my first - a bottle goes a long way for me, making it an even better value for the money). 10/10 highly recommend and have already repurchased. I hope Wet n Wild NEVER discontinues this!!!

I was actually impressed! When I saw that it was pink, I thought “ope, I don't want a orange tone on my face” but it didn't show up orange at all. It gave my skin a nice dewy look under foundation and held up really well throughout the day. Definitely a good find for the price! Definitely buying again!

Great product for little money. It makes your face feel so soft and hydrated.

I use this to prime my undereye. It's very hydrating. It does the job.

The primer serum does a good job, what concerns me is that my online order came with 3/4 of the product. It seems was tampered....

Very hydrating, I only use a couple drops for my full face. let your skin soak it in before you apply your foundation.

Well at first the price was about $7 but the $6 delivery fee caused me to be required to pay $14. The delivery fee almost made me not want to purchase the product in the end.

Easy to apply a few drops on face and tap into skin. Dries quickly and haven't noticed any allergy to product. Second time purchased . No heavy residue. I Apply a light hydrating liquid foundation afterwards. Generally wait about 5 mins after applying primer. A good price range and does work pretty well.

This is certainly a serum but I expect a primer to make my skin smooth and ready for makeup. This dried with a strange finish kind of like a grippy primer only tighter and drier than that. I didn't like the wake makeup looked with it at all. I was very interested in a liquid serum primer but I won't be buying again.

Funny smell—a mixture of bug spray and latex. Its not very thick, hydrates the skin though, after the sticky wet dries. But over all..i wouldnt not buy again!
