Whac-a-Mole Kids Arcade Game with Mallets, Lights & Sounds for Children 4 Years & Up, 1-2 Players

Noisy. But Granddaughter likes it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our son loved this game. The two player option allowed for him and his dad to engage in competition. The rules and counting were interesting. It took a minute to understand how the beeps worked to determine the players scores. It was good that you could make it repeat the count. This was also an opportunity to have our son count and then put the numbers together to determine the two digit number.

It's super easy to set up and keeps them busy (and laughing) for a long time. The little moles light up fast enough to be a fun challenge, and the soft mallets are perfect for little hands. It's awesome for hand-eye coordination, and I love that all the kids can play together without any arguing — just lots of giggles and excitement. The toy feels sturdy and well-made too, which is a big plus. Definitely one of the best toys we've bought lately. If you're looking for something fun, active, and a little bit silly, this one's a winner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If your kids love going to the arcade or to the country fair, then this is the perfect board game to have at home. Setup is easy, it just needs 3 AA batteries and it's good to go (though you will need a small screwdriver to get the battery cover off). Two people can play the game, so if you have more than two players, they'll need to take turns. The game is big enough that it won't break when you bang it with the small bat, but it's small enough that it can be easily moved and transported. Small kids won't have any problems playing the game, and they'll love smacking the little moles whenever they light up.

We took turns to play tournament mode and that was interesting to see the difference in scores to actual hits and then did team play as well. It was definitely a game to hold the interest of 5 for a little over an hour! We found it was entertaining playing in the dark. The lights on the game are super bright. The game as a whole is very durable!

My 5 year old really enjoyed trying to keep up with the lights and hitting the "moles" he loves games that keep him guessing and aren't super repetitive so this one got all the things. The game comes with 2 hammers and can be played by up to 2 players. My 5 year really enjoyed playing with his brother. There are no small pieces to keep track of and it's easy to store.
