I can't get enough of Whataburger's spicy ketchup with Cholula It's seriously the perfect balance of flavor and heat. Its not too mild, not overpowering, just right. It adds a delicious kick to everything I put it on, from fries to burgers and even eggs. I've basically started eating it on everything. If you like a little spice without losing great taste, this is it!
I love, love this ketchup. There are two WhatABurger ketchups on the market currently but the other ketchup has high fructose corn syrup. This is the sugar cane version. The other version also isn't as spicy. The taste is excellent. I just bought another two bottles because I can't keep it in the house.
I actually bought this ketchup by mistake, thinking I was ordering the standard Whataburger ketchup - which is the best ketchup on the market, IMO. This was a great surprise. It's spicy but not overpoweringly so - just the right amount of Cholula hot sauce to make its presence known. It's terrific on fries, burgers, meatloaf, frankfurters, etc. It makes the best cocktail sauce when paired with horseradish. I plan to keep a bottle of this right next to the regular ketchup in my fridge from now on.
I thought I was built different. I was wrong. Picked up the Whataburger Spicy Ketchup with Cholula thinking, “Yeah, I like a little kick.” A little kick? This bottle hit me like it had unfinished business. First of all, flavor? Elite. Dangerous. Addictive. It's got that smooth ketchup sweetness but then BAM — Cholula slides in like, “Respectfully… suffer.” I put it on everything. Burgers, fries, eggs. Probably would've put it on cereal if I had less self-respect. Fast forward to the next morning. I go for a casual jog. Sun shining. Feeling athletic. Thinking about life goals. Then my stomach starts negotiating. At first it was a polite warning. Then it escalated into a full internal emergency meeting. I'm mid-jog, realizing I have exactly 0.7 seconds to make life decisions. Long story short, I did not win that race. Let's just say the jog turned into a tactical retreat and my pets witnessed a level of vulnerability no man should display in front of his household. Was it worth it? Absolutely. Will I buy it again? Already did. Five stars. Would risk my dignity again.
So delicious...I ended up adding it to my chicken Ramen noodles....tastes like a nice, spicy (not hot), tangy (not sweet) tomato soup...but, plenty thick for dipping fries. If you like spicy and tangy, you will want to eat it with a spoon.
We tried this ketchup in Texas quite a few years back. We live in Indiana and haven't seen this sold anywhere else besides Walmart. I ordered 2 and about to order more. Taste just as I remember.
Purchased these for some out of state friends who had never heard of Whataburger. Now it's ǒthe one thing they always ask to be sent for holidays, special occasions, or just because they ran out.
First time ever purchased. Everyone in home lives it. Just the right amount of kick without the burn
This ketchup is the best out there right now if you like that hot sauce, ketchup combo. It goes great with Wingz, fries burgers, etc..
My family really loves this stuff. I don't know what the big deal is but I have to ship it to them sometimes when they can't find it.
