What's That Smell? Scent Guessing Game for Adults and Families

This is a very interesting take on game-play for a new party game. It definitely brings a newness to it that catches the eye. I don't know if I would've been attracted to a "smelling" game but this definitely took all doubt away from me. I now can tell you that I do not know how most household items truly smell, or at least I cannot recognize them without the eye. The punishment smells are something out of this world, who could even push through hours of making these and testing them? They are the best game punishment you will see and the reactions are so great that they should almost go viral. Now warning, don't hide a smothered BO card in your roomates bedroom because it will take a while to get that smell out lol. The cards are fresh and the smells last at least the first 5-7 times I've played it and they almost get fresher every time. Truly a great purchase that will take you outside your comfort zone on your regular party game

This is a great fun product for most gatherings, whether it's a party or just a small get together with friends. It has a multitude of smells that's either pleasant or not so pleasant. The great part is that the scents don't really lose its smell over time so it can be used over and over again. Really fun way to pass the time with a few other people.

Great game to play at a party. Although the box says that this is a game meant for a party of 6, we all have a great time passing around a scent card and just trying to guess what the card is. Some of the cards don't exactly smell like what it is supposed to be, but that is to be expected. Overall, pretty fun to play the first couple of time around, but you run through all the cards pretty quick. I hope they have an expansion pack soon.

I bought this game as a housewarming gift for a new roommate and it's turned into our new tradition whenever we have guests over. The app was super easy to figure out and the scents are weirdly accurate. The whiff of shame is no joke! A great way to get everyone in a good mood.

This game is definitely a fun change up to your typical party game. The app is super easy to figure out and a great way to catch a reaction to a bad smell. The smells are the ABSOLUTE gnarliest but they are a great motivator to win the game. The smell of the cards definitely do not wear down fast and this game is a great way to stray out of your comfort zone from your typical party game.

Really fun game. Can get even funnier if you're drunk while playing this. Lol

The scents in this game stand out! We had a fun time playing this game and getting to know folks much better listening to their memories brought by the scent. All in all a fun game to play, although if you're the loser it's not so fun.

You will not have a boring night playing this game. With over 50+ "mystery smells" you and your friends can have a memorable time trying to guess the funk. The scents are pretty strong, so I definitely recommend you play this in a large open area with friends that don't mind the challenge!

Pros- nice artwork. Thats it. When you open the box you are welcomed with the smell from all the card at once. The kids were really excited to play, i was too. So we set it up and our family of 6 got to it. The black "clip" that you set the cards in, is really more of a stand. So the card can fall out and the answer can be seen at anytime. Bummer. The scents are vague. For example: my daughters card smelled exactly like a swimming pool. Chlorine. However it was labeled as dirty socks. Ive got 2 boys, i know urine when i smell it.... but the urine smelling card was "toot"?!? What? So the 6 year old, whos guesses were "toot", "bowel movement" and poison" etc... won. There are obscure scents like "dirty socks" and very particular scents like "almond paste". That makes the game difficult. Another thing that makes it difficult is coming up with a funny memory of a smell. How does anyone have a funny memory of almond paste? So even if you guessed right, you dont have a funny memory to write down for the scent, you lose points. Poorly thought out section of a card. You will probably find this game in a garage sale for 50cents.

This game was a disappointment. The instructions are not clearly written, you can’t play it without the use of a smart phone app (to the best of my knowledge this was not stated on the box), the smells are not very accurate to their descriptions, and overall game play will leave you wondering what the exact objective of the game is. I paid full price, $19.99. I honestly wish I could return it! Save your money and time. This one is a dud!
