Wheeler 30 Piece SAE/Metrix Hec and Torx P-Handle Set

I had my eye on these for a little while totally worth it when they went on sale. great set of tools for home / Armory work.

Great product. They look good and I like how you can use them in multiple ways. I also really like how the set comes with both standard and metric.

Bought this needing an Allen with a longer reach and a little extra leverage this set is huge and came with everything I'll need for the basic gun work I do and plenty more. Stand with it so you don't have to worry about that. It is a pretty big set so expect it to take up some room but it's great and the quality is there definitely worth the cost

This is a large set, larger than I thought from just looking at the image. Well designed to sit in their stand, looks great on my bench. Haven't used them all much yet but glad to have all of these for when I'll need them.

Almost perfect, but someone decided to leave out the T-25. This is a very popular si,e for gunsmith work it is a shame it is skipped in the set. No need for the T-40

From bicycles to tractors to guns this set lives on my gun bench but is handy for everything else on the farm. I just twisted my T10 off in a scope mount screw. Got on here to look for just the single replacement. So far everything else in the set is good. I've had it for well over 5 years. The only complaint is getting the smaller wrenches out of the holder with one hand. The larger wrenches over top are right in the way. Looked at t10 replacements online and they are the security version, which have a hole drilled in the middle. No way those are going to hold up to installing scope mounts. The wheeler set is worth the $$ as long as you know that very small torx bits do not hold up to manufacturers recommended torque. Torqued these screws in with the wheeler fat wrench a couple years ago.(Which does not come with a T10 bit by the way.)

The handles are nice. They put some thought into the tool design. The engineers/designers: The tray is well organized, though a bit awkward to use. You'll need to move the back row tools to get the front ones out. The handles are nice and fit my big hands well. The metal has rounded and straight ends to allow for some variance in how you hold the tool to the nut. There are short and long options on the tool. Finance: Use the least expensive metal you can find and mark it up...a lot. The rounded end snapped off after the first use. It was a T15.

I bought this set an about 6 months ago. I have purchased Wheeler products before and was pleased with the quality of their products. Unfortunately that was not the case with this product. I have had many failures in the tips of the bits. The metal seems to be very weak. I have purchased similar products from other manufacturers and what a big difference. From what I am reading in the posts this is something that is not new with the product. Wheeler…I think you need to make this right with me and many others that have depended on your quality and got a subpar tools. I new to gun repair and can't afford to sustain losses like this. Until you make this right I will be purchasing from competitors.

Saw this online and got excited for the organization. However, the lower tier are a pain to get out as the upper ones get in the way. The worst is the quality of the pieces. With light use I have broken the tips off 2 and twisted 4 others so they are unusable. Also, two are mis-labeled marking their sizes incorrectly.
