A good read
My kid has this book in her syllabus for 5th grade LA as she is learning advance English. She is enjoying the book so much that she is reading ahead of her teacher's given number of pages. Definitely good reading.

Great story for any age.
A must read for any age. A heartwarming story about a boy and his desires growing up as a poor boy in the Ozarks.

A Classic
This book is a classic! I have read it with students in my classroom and now I am reading it with my great grandson. He is a very active almost 10-year-old boy and he has requested that I don't stop reading saying “read one more chapter”.
