Whetstone Huge 10.5" Sweeney Todd Replica Straight Razor

This product well exceeded my expectations! I've look at a lot of straight razors for my collection ans have never found any this sturdy! The price had me worried it would be a cheap one but I was well pleased. No, I don't think you can shave with it and its not pure silver... but its a great piece for a collection!

I've been collecting knives for over 40 years and when I saw the ad I was skeptical for the price but when I received it I was Amassed ! Great Razor , Long and Sharp with many useful uses . I'm getting a few more to modify into pocket knives and work tools. Extra Hallow ground blade and a sturdy metal handle make this a nice fictional item in my opinion.

This thing is big! It is solid metal and well built. Amazing they can do that for the price.

I don't know whether I'd ever try to shave with the thing, but that's not why I bought it. As a gift for my Sweeney Todd loving daughter, it will serve admirably. Fit and finish, for a sub $10 blade was more than I expected. Whether the actual steel is good or not, it LOOKS good, and for a mantlepiece display item, that's good enough.

This was NOT a true straight razor, more of just a folding pocket knife that looks like a straight razor. Blade is about as sharp as swiss army knife blades. Again, NOT an actual razor.

As a "Sweeney Todd" collectible, this is a great piece! It's also a good $30 cheaper than the official prop replica by NECA. But, as a functioning razor … that's debatable. The edge is barely sharp as a knife. This would require quite a bit of additional sharpening for it to be considered "razor sharp." I suppose it could be done, but I'm happy with it as just a display piece.

Arrived broken, blade wasn't attached. You get what you pay for..

came broken at one end with a broken screw and I certainly will not be able to shave with it. it's not sharp enough. more like a knife than a razor.

When my son picked it out for our daughter who is 20 it read SET when we got it there was only 1 and the box had nothing on it to say it was a Replica fromt he movie ti was a in gray box with some other name. UNLESS you know the movie you would have no clue on the box or any part of it that it was even a replica. VERY DISAPOINTED
