Great Wall AC unit! I tried 2 other brands, LG and Perfect Aire. Both would stop blowing cold air after 5-10 minutes. This whirlpool unit continuously blows cold air until I shut it off. Perfect for my garage.
it cools my living room and kitchen area nicely. The only drawback is that it don't fit snugly into the sleeve but that is not s big issue at all. Thia Air conditioner is a great buy.
A bit noisy, but I like the white noise of it
I've had this AC for about three months and have no serious complaints with it. It cools the house, the thermostat is just not calibrated correctly. It's about 6 degrees cooler than it says it is, so I set the temperature higher...no big deal. The only other issue I have with it is that the auto on/off is a little quirky. Part of it is to do with the AC and the other contributing factor is NOT the fault of the AC but where I have to place it in my house (a dedicated wall frame) and the layout of my house. I've found I have to manually turn it on and off occasionally throughout the day because it doesn't want to kick on and off like it's supposed to. I had a leak in my roof and in my house (fixed) and the house got very humid. I used the dehumidifier on it and it dried the house within a half hour. I was very impressed. When I first installed the AC the weather was bouncing up and down so I tried out the heater on the AC unit. It won't warm your house, but at least if something should happen to my furnace I know it will take the chill off enough that I won't freeze. I usually run a 12000 BTU in this house, but opted for this 14000 BTU. It was worth it. It cools a little better.
It is not quite loud, even with the fan on low speed. And don't believe it does a good job of maintaining its setpoint. Seems to be too cool or too warm most of the time.
Hasn't been installed as of yet
Worked good, kind of noisy
This item came as defective. I bought from walmart.com. Machine can come with problems which is normal but to return at local walmart store located at Edison, NJ - is nightmare. No line, no rush hours but still it took me more than 1 hr to argue and convince that this piece is defective and within 1 month return policy even I went there with return receipt knowing that how hard time they are going to give me. Its not first time, its good history of Edison, NJ walmart to give hard time to take returns when the order is made from walmart.com. Hopefully, Walmart is reading this review seriously.
It made such a loud noise when cooling. I had to return it two days later. Furthermore it was heck to put in the sleeve. I had to add all the different forms strips. It was miserable.
cools 500 sf room from 89 to 80 degrees. Yes, 80 is more comfortable than 89 but I spent over $600. I expected more.
