[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes it took a month to get this because it was a special order item. Then was installed about a month age and we love it. This unit is so simple to use and cooks food faster than what the package states! Our old unit was a champ, it last us 22 years. We are hopeful.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took 4 months from the time I purchased it, but it was worth it. We needed a white appliance not stainless which looks like a hunk of metal in a totally white kitchen. Whirlpool should furnish more white appliances.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am replacing a whirlpool unit with this new unit and I am still getting accustomed to using the new one but so far I am very pleased with the way it functions especially the present power functions on the microwave. I haven't used the airfry function yet but I'm sure it will be just as easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently replaced our GE oven combo from 1990. Needless to say the technology has changed substantially. It was a bit of an adjustment getting use to the control panel. I was a little disappointed that I had to download the operating manual from the Whirlpool web site. Once I read the manual things fell into place and I found the controls intuitive to use. Overall, we are very pleased with the aesthetic and many convenient features. However, the first time I used the oven it created a fair amount of smoke. I soon realized it was burning off some of the chemicals used during manufacturing. I had to open windows to air the area out. Adding a warning to the printed manual would be helpful. Also, the oven vents hot air into the kitchen when initially turned off. It would be better to vent this air outside. And, I feel it would be beneficial to have an ‘OFF' light when the oven or microwave Control prompts are touched when in operation modes. In conclusion, we are very pleased with the quality and construction of the appliance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this recently to replace my old model. I am still learning to navigate it. It is very attractive, but I wish an owner's manual had come with it. It operates differently than my old one and I am still doing a lot of trial and error.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my new combo unit on the 27th, and it looks great, and so far baking works well. The only thing I don't like is the pull-down microwave door. I'm 5'3”, due to height loss from compression fractures in my spine due to an accident. Even if I were still 5'5”, it would be hard to reach in over the door to get out something hot! Or even to wipe it out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the model in the photo... but mine does not look like that. Much to my disappointment. The unit itself is nice.... but I am so disappointed in the look. The handles are white on black glass. Mine has handles that contrast with its backing. Looks less sleek. Not Happy....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with the features but have two concerns. First, The haptic response is not consistent and is already frustrating. Second, the oven door does not close all the way on occasion. It requires an additional nudge.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall pleased with appliance but volume is quite low and can't be adusted higher- our hearing is fine! The alert sound also is set to just 1 alert. Those two combined make it hard to know when something is cooked for time set.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit over two months ago. Overall, it is an okay unit. What I don't like is that when the microwave is operating it vents steam out the bottom of the microwave door and it steams the inside of the lower oven door between the glass panes. There is no way to wipe the moisture because it is on the inside of the glass panes. The only way to get to clean it is to take the lower oven door apart. I called Whirlpool and told them about the issue and they sent a repair service out to assess it. When the repair service arrived, the repair person looked at the microware, called Whirlpool and was told that was the way it was supposed to function. The repair person told me that the microwave vented out of the upper slots in the lower oven and left without doing anything other than calling Whirlpool. After he left, I spent some time determining that the microwave does not vent through the slots in the top of the oven as I was told, but the air seems to flow out of the bottom of the microwave door. It seems to me that is a major design flaw. I am beginning to see a slight buildup of residue on the inside of the oven glass panes.
