[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased it a week ago, it works amazing and is simple. Easy to clean and bake in.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the simplicity of my new range. Completes my new kitchen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced my 16 year old stove and good god what a difference 16 years makes in technology. It has multiple timers for the forgetful folks, will shut off after cooking through said time limit, and the double burner is great. No more needing three big burners and only having two.
I like the set up of the controls and the warning system of when there is a hot spot on the cook top. The controls for the oven are easy to set. The only thing that is lacking is the storage drawer for pans seems a little flimsy. Over all I am very pleased. My old friend (C.B. McCraney) is a sales rep for Whirlpool and I consulted with him before I bought. He steered me right.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just wanted a basic range with no useless (to me) bells and whistles and I did not want to pay for extras I would not use. This is it. Does everything well and it looks good....price was right too. I did get a few squeaking sound when the oven was heating up and found it was the heating wires expanding and a scraping on the oven walls and floor. This was cured by putting a couple of bits of aluminum foil under the "feet" of the heating rods!!
This stove on the face of it looked like any other Whirlpool glasstop range I've had. As others have said, seems to show the heat marks on the glass top quickly and I keep up with it, but still happens. Bottom drawer flimsier than most. This was a builder placed appliance in the home when I bought it and I just went to clean the oven, and there is NO self-cleaning mode. I have never had another stove that has not had this feature, even in an apartment. What the heck? The only instructions are a "steam clean" to place water in the bottom. This seems like a basic function. Odd.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very chincy bottom oven drawer. Had hard time getting oven drawer on track. Installers did not install correctly. Scratches on bottom of oven drawer when installers ripped off blue tape. Also nicked my wall. Wasn’t able to upload pictures. My previous range lasted over 25 years and was wonderful. Don’t make things like they used to!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This one was given/installed in the new house by the construction company. I prefer an energy efficient ranger. This one is a basic model - my opinion. Clock light is always on; burners get hot fast and take a while to cool down. Oven needs to be hand clean as a basic model.
We bought a house less than 3 months ago that came with this range. It looks beautiful. The burners heat very unevenly: the front left rapidly boils on the lowest setting and the front right takes ten minutes to warm up, but then works as it should. The oven door heats up so bad that our 18 month old and 3 year old barely touched it and both got burned. We (the parents) have to make sure not to let our legs graze the door, when we are cooking, otherwise we get burned, but the oven handle stays cool.
Brought a new house a year and half ago this oven it what the builder put in. Moved it out today to clean behind and under good thing I did the wire at the bottom was burnt now the stove doesn’t work.
