Whirlpool 30 Pt.1 Piece 2,000 Sq. ft. Dehumidifier in White - Automatic Shut-off, Variable Speed

This is a very nice dehumidifier and I like it. It was shipped without casters and when I called Walmart to ask for the casters I was told that could not be done. The only options were a 5% discount, a full refund after returning or a exchange for a different one. I thought that was ridiculous and then I saw a card from Whirlpool. I called Whirlpool and they immediately said they would send the four missing casters.

I am 100% happy with this unit. It is exactly what I wanted and does exactly what I needed. Perfect. I purchased the Whirlpool 40-pint Dehumidifier with the pump for my basement. One person can set the unit up themselves. The unit is quiet and does not bother humans or cats. The unit is good looking. The wheels easily are inserted into the unit. You do not need a hammer. The pump works perfectly. Be sure to press the PUMP BUTTON and you will be all set. The pump hose is included and it does not leak. The unit dehumidified my entire basement on the LOW SETTING so fast. The bucket does have a handle if you decide not to use the pump feature. Good quality brand name. I am so happy. Thank you!

This Whirlpool 50pt is starting out just fine, but so have my last four dehumidifiers. The real test is to see if it keeps dehumidifying beyond the second summer. (The others have not. I've concluded that a dehumidifier is one device for which it pays to by the extended warranty offered with it.) This is probably the quietest model I've had. I often have to feel the warmth of the air coming out to tell if the compressor is running. Its hose connection is easy to use. it was very well packaged, with heavy-duty straps around the box that make it easy to lift and move. And the top part of the box lifted off a separate bottom piece, so the machine didn't have to be cut out or dumped out.

Hi To All Great product, never owned a Dehumidifier before, we bought this for our dog that has congestive heart failure and its working perfect to remove the humidity from our leaving room were she sleeps. Its helping her sleep now all night, keeping the air dry. Only problem we had is the company forgot to send the wheels for the unit. I called them and they shipped them out with in 10 days. It does put off a little heat when running, but I think that's just what they do. I do feel guilty for throwing away all the water. So I use it in the garden. We also took out the extended warranty just to not worry about failure. GOOD Product. Not much money to buy us some more time with our puppy.

The first Wirlpool dehumidifier did not work very well. I returned it via front porch pick-up to Walmart and got a new one shipped to me the same day, no questions asked. The second one works great. Good doing business with you. Thanks Bernie W

So far, so good. Works as advertised over first two weeks. One slightly annoying quirk: If the unit is running when you want to empty the bucket you have to turn it off and wait a minute while some water continues to drain into the bucket.

Very disappointed. First off the bucket is not easily removed- there's virtually no handle for lifting it. Secondly, the digital reading for temperature doesn't work, and the condenser doesn't remove moisture on low speed. Only positive remark is that when running it is relatively quiet. I will be returning it.

Had this for about three months. My first Whirlpool product in forty years, thought their quality may have gotten better....... I was wrong, pump making very loud noise and barely pumping any water. I didn't use the pump while testing how much water it was removing.

The Dehumidifier works fine. But, I ordered two with pump. The pump became objectionably noisy and I returned. The third one was delivered and ran for about a month, then the pump on that became very loud and actually, quit pumping. Sorry to say, I will choose another brand next time. Probably Toshiba

I received and could not get the pump to work. Reported to Walmart and was sent a second one and started pumping and then stopped. I mean in a few hours. Could not even make 24 hours. I even tried pumping into a bucket and not up and out of the basement. Still did not pump. I will be contacting Walmart again on Monday.
