[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After delivery minor leveling and positioning was needed. Did it myself after consulting instructions supplied. Easily leveled and repositioned for optimal access. Found it roomy and easy to access everything. After springtime the refrigerator cold setting. Neded changing but it was easily accomplished and drinks have stopped freezing in the rear of the cabinet. Ice maker took some getting used to, but is functioning well with no problems. Freezer looked a bit smaller at first but is now just right for our purposes. Unit is exceptionally quiet. Doors open and close easily. Seals work as they should without any leaks. In all a good replacement for our 27 year old model. Would recommend it to friends and relatives.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridge is fine. It is smaller than I anticipated, even though measurements are the same as last fridge. I saved a bin from old fridge and it happily fit new one (well enough), to give me an extra bin. Works fine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge keeps cold extremely well, the freezer works well. The controls are simple to use. The fridge could stand to have an additional drawer. I've never had one that didn't have 3 drawers. This one has 2 and the very bottom drawer is a bit small. In all fairness, though, this is the smallest fridge I have had. I found a piece at Hobby Lobby that works to keep cheeses and sandwich meat in. The ice maker works well, but frequently, a bit after someone gets ice from the dispenser in the door, a piece of ice will drop from the dispenser and ends up on the floor. I still like it innspitebof those things, but a pickier person might not.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall excellent function and good design. An additional shelf in the freezer would be helpful to keep tings neat and organized. Providing an option to purchase extra shelf would be a good idea.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my highly rated but much despised LG died I was looking for something basic. One reviewer described Whirlpool as stuck in the 90's. I immediately thought, that's for me. It cools, makes and distributes ice with no fuss, keeps both freezer and fridge at appropriate temps and the side by side beats the heck out of Top French doors and bottom freezer for organization. I always have a filter on the icemaker source before the fridge so the worries about filter replacement don't matter. It's compressor does make a bit more noise than any fridge I've ever had. Also no bother to me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that the glass shelves don't have the border edging. I've had the same size fridge before, but this new one seems so much bigger! Everything seems so much easier to access. I have been satisfied with both the freezer and fridge side holding an even cold temperature. Better lighting too. I love the Bisque color, and the handles are very comfortable, which seems like a small thing, but I notice it every time I open the doors. Speaking of doors, the only complaint I have is that they seem to be off balance when I open them and swing open too fast. I have to hold on to the door so the hinges don't get continually stressed. Also, I did buy additional shelves, and I miss that it does not have a slide out cheese drawer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is good but the most annoying features are the ice-maker and external dispenser. The external ice maker ALWAYS throws pieces of ice to the floor no matter how close you get the cup. At the same time, if you do not angle your cup just right, you will mistakenly hit the water dispenser. I think the design flaw was in trying to combine the two. Overall, it cools and freezes well and has more space than my last.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Refrigerator and Freezer keep things fresh. The only downside is the water and ice dispenser. When we use a refillable thermos many times the water pours when you are getting ice. Also, there is no catch basin on this model so we had to improvise and place a dish cloth so water doesn't spill down the front of the refrigerator l.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brand new fridge that came with our newly built house. It's noisy and I am in the process of submitting a warranty claim. Came with one vegetable and one fruit drawer only. Not sure if the cheese/ham drawer was to be included.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pure garbage. The refrigerator is not just ugly, it's loud and poorly constructed. The fridge emits a consistent noise. In short, I rate the Whirlpool fridge as a piece of junk. Cheap garbage construction. I do not recommend Whirlpool products.
