Great features!

SuPo January 4, 2026

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love this side by side fridge. It is spacious enough for our family and the in door water and ice is a wonderful feature! Love having the ice on the door instead of inside the freezer. Allows more storage space!

Good frig for a small family.

Dinges September 12, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this refrigerator. Ice maker is great. Inside the shelves are easy to access, bins are very handy and the shelves on the door can store multiple items. Also the finish on the outside of the refrigerator is very nice.

See above. Like the separate crushed ice and water

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Happy with our fridge overall. Looks good. Took awhile to adjust temp of fridge part so eggs would not freeze. The ice cube tray inside freezer part is awkward to open and close.

Great!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It's a little louder than our old one, but the water fill station is big enough for water bottles which is awesome!!

It had a shortage of shelves compared to old unit

TJ (that's all) July 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rotating ice maker on our former unit froze in place and would not rotate to drop the ice cubes. It would recycle and send water over the top on that unit and fall into the ice cube container then leak to the tray on the front of the door. Messy situation.

A little disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The visibility is excellent. However, the temperature control is inconsistent. We have the temperature for the refrigerater set at 37 and items freeze on the top shelf. There does not seem to be a problem with the freezer.

Crap product and NO warranty help.

Andrea September 10, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 4 months old and already needs service ! This refrigerator is a piece of junk. The interior temperature is uneven throughout and things freeze on the top & second shelf. It's set at 38 degrees which is warmer than I like and the top shelf temp is 33 and the bottom is 40. yes, I have 3 thermometers inside ! Getting prompt warranty service is another joke,'the website is no help duen to a program glitch preventing the selection of a date for repair. calling isn't much better, i was on hold for 40 minutes, have called 3 times and still have no service date.

Really Loud. Outdated. Annoying.

Whirlpool Innovation? August 18, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An awful refrigerator. We had the same exact refrigerator previously. Lasted only 7 years, but at least it was quiet and did its job. This new version had the loudest and most annoying compressor that sounded like a house alarm going off. Whirlpool repairman (Diamond Service) noticed it immediately upon walking in our front door. He ordered a control panel, but when he came back to install the control panel a couple weeks later he said he was "told" to tell us that the sound was "normal operating noise." I am an owner of an HVAC company and know what normal is. This was over 50db and could be heard throughout the 3,500s.f. house. We were told there was nothing we could do, so we simply sent the unit back to the store and purchased another refrigerator which is quiet and hums along as expected. The only reason we purchased the Whirlpool was because it was one of the few that could fit our 69" high opening in counter depth. We had to purchase another (lower end) Whirlpool in standard depth/black, so I wasn't happy about the brand, but at least it works and I'm not fighting with some arbitrary manufacture opinion of what is "normal."

Do not buy!

Aalexander August 22, 2026

You will regret buying! Things I wished I would have known before buying this fridge… 1. It makes 16 small cubes of ice a day. We live in Arizona and have to buy 2 bags of ice a week for a family of 4. It is so frustrating! 2. The water that comes out of the fridge is not cold. Very weird and annoying since it barely makes any ice. 3. Everything in the left side of the fridge will start to Freeze, so make sure you don't put your eggs on that side. We also got the whirlpool oven Mod# WFES5030RZ DO NOT BUY! We remodeled our entire kitchen and got all new appliance. I was sold on whirlpool being a top brand! Regret the purchases and I see us purchasing new appliances in the future.
