(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I purchased this a month ago and I'm so glad I did. I purchased it for my mom so she didn't have to go into the basement to wash her clothes she loves it, she says it washes and dries the clothes great.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I've just started using my new machine and I am very satisfied. It took a bit to learn the controls because the manual included isn't clear or detailed enough. Google helped me find what I needed to learn. Although it takes a long time the machine performance is excellent for me, a senior that's not in a rush.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This was a disappointing purchase, steam pours out of the detergent tray, and makes the entire house humid every time the dryer turns on despite it being advertised as “ventless” even though it has a vent. There is no lint trap so lint sticks to the door seal and your clothes. Called whirlpool to have a repair tech come out who told me nothing was wrong with it. The store I bought it from wouldn't take it back and neither will Whirlpool, so I am now stuck with it.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It was a terrible machine. There was so much lint to clean after each wash, it leaked detergent on the floor everytime I opened the reservoir, when I included the dry cycle, it gave off so much heat in my house it was unbearable to use the dryer. It ended up being a glorified extremely expensive washer that did not clean very well. I've since returned it got a refund, and bought a stackable washer dryer that is not whirlpool. I'd like to add, whirlpool refused to let me return it, they gave me such a hard time. I had to go through the retailer to get a refund. Whirlpool 2 in 1 machine is terrible.
Do not buy. If I could, I would give this machine no stars. I bought two of these machines. The issue is the lint buildup. They need a lint filter in the actual machine. After one use, all clothes were covered lint and many are ruined. I have to vacuum lint out and wash the rubber lip after every use. I keep getting error codes on one machine after using it less than 10 times, causing machine to lock and can't get it open. Just had it repaired today and bottom drain filter was full of lint. This filter has teeth that hold the lint rather than flushing it out the draining hoses, causing the lint to build up very quickly. I shouldn't have to clean this filter out after a couple of loads. A total design flaw. Put a regular lint filter in it and put the drain filter up higher so it's more accessible for the elderly.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Worst lifetime purchase. The fumes are horrible and gives me headaches. My clothes smell like new tires. It's really difficult to figure out how to use. The owners manuel is vague.
I had this delivered 2 days ago and it's been nothing but a headache Day 1 I did 1 load of laundry and got and error code for the filter. It's was blocked with hair and lint. Solid. 2nd load didn't stop drying for 6 hrs so I hot tumbled a load of t-shirts until it shut down. I have since removed the bottom drawer and have to check the trap after each load. Day 2 I have a massive flood! Water is shooting out of the dispenser on the top front of the unit To make things even better it's Saturday and whirlpool doesn't open until Monday.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I wish I could return it. This unit is nowhere near as good as advertised! Extremely disappointed and sick to my stomach that we spent so much money on this machine. The drain filter in the front is extremely difficult to get to, it has to be cleaned every third load or the machine doesn't work. Loads take an obscene amount of time. We have done about 15 loads and haven't had a dry load yet! Clothes are always damp. I honestly absolutely hate it.
Flooded my condominium with an overpowered drain pump. I'd give it -5 stars if i could. Has likely done more damage that its worth. I would have been better off if I'd literally been robed.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very disappointed. The dryer is not adequate for items like towels. Seriously? 10 - 12 hours to dry 3-4 towels and face cloths.
