[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been using for a few weeks with no problem. The wife has noted she thinks it's necessary to hold the power a little longer than our old machine so there's a very slight learning curve. We're very pleased with this machine. Another plus is it doesn't have a wifi app to go with it. I feel they're just one more thing to go wrong. Just a simple non-complicated machine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this recently and am very pleased with my Whirlpool Duet Dryer. The settings are easy to do and a great diversity of how to dry any type of load. I really like the wrinkle free option - clothes come out really nice without a problem even if they are in the dryer longer than expected. I like the straightforward design of options for dryer cycle, etc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dryer has a stylish look while being highly functional. It dries super efficiently and the energy star rating is a bonus in my book. It has a great selection of settings including sanitize, which is great for pet parents.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for about a month now and have no regrets buying it. I upgraded from an 18-year old Whirlpool Duet Sport and love the huge capacity of this one. It seems to dry slower than the Duet, but it's larger and drying more clothing so i reckon that's something to just get used to. The only thing i don't like about it is the power and start 'buttons' and "boot up" time. The machine takes a few seconds (5?) to boot up instead of just turning on and it's easy to accidentally touch the power button, causing you to have to wait while it boots again. The start button requires touching it for about 3 seconds to start the load. It's not a lot of time, just annoying coming from a model with 'membrane' buttons that started a load by pressing two buttons, beep beep, with no waiting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been Whirlpool appliance customers for the 52 years we've been married. So, purchasing this dryerw was a no brainer. We likes the new features of this model. Unfortunately, when we got it home, it started making a loud clicking noise when the drum rotated. We called Whirlpool Warranty and they sent out a technician, who simply replaced all the rollers and the noise disappeared. So, again, we are happy Whirlpool owners!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the performance on this washer is decent. I owned one before and the only reason it doesn't have 5 star is because my old one didn't last for more than 5 years and started leaking. Price is decent .. features are not my thing as long as it does a decent job in washing. I normally use one feature.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very cumbersome to just start. Push this button and then push this button and hold. Sometimes it it doesn't start and you have keep pushing buttons to get it to start. My Kenmore dryer was quick easy and started every time.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dryer is average what I like is it is quick and efficient. What I do not like about it is the time it takes just to push a button and get it started and if the electricity has gone out it takes even longer. It does make a loud clicks also when it changes what it's doing. I would probably not buy again because of the time it takes just to get it to run.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First one delivered made a loud rattling noise. Second one had a sensor fail within 10 days. That sensor was replaced, and seems to work alright. Towels always need extra time. As an “efficient” dryer it isn't so efficient, and hasn't proven well built. I guess time will tell. Very glad I bought the extended service plan… I suspect we'll need it.
Our new dryer arrived today. The size does not reflect 7.4 cu ft. Why did I pay for a dryer advertised at 7.4 cu ft yet received a 7.0 cu ft dryer. To add insult to injury I can't even register the smaller dryer at the larger price because there is a system error at Whirlpool. When did the quality decline?
