(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This was installed in a new condo I purchased two months ago. We are very happy with it. The only complaint is how dirty the filter area gets even when we clean it each time we use the dryer. The filter doesn't seem to be getting all of the fuzz.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This is a replacement unit of another unit of the same model. The original one come brand new with the new condo. First few use already discover water leaking everywhere while trying to dry a load. Multiple visits from technician replacing multiple parts still can't resolve it. Finally they initiate an exchange for me. This new unit come and have exactly the same problem. Contact support again and luckily this time a more experienced technician finally know what's the problem and get it fix. This mean the exchange of the first one may and the multiple visits are not necessary. However, this does raise concern of the product as 2 units come brand new with the same problem and require technician on site visits to fix.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) No auto dry function - I.e. dryer to stop automatically when sensing clothes are dry. Need to remove lint in couple of areas Takes quite a long time (1+ hour) to completely dry clothes.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I received this dryer the first week of September. After 5 weeks of use it stopped working. Very disappointed with the quality. Several other users in the building have scheduled repairs for this same unit; so I am not an isolated case.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It came with my new condo. It's so squeaky and loud. So is its accompanying washer. Also, several times it started then stops a few minutes after.
Bought about 2 years ago. Worked well the 1st year. 2nd year it got worse and worse. Took it all apart to clean (terrible design BTW) and it STILL takes 6 hrs to dry a SMALL batch of clothes. Had a tech come by- test everything...said "it seems to be fine- all the sensors check ou) meanwhile he never actually tested it or even pulled out a multimeter. Called the help line- lady said they could send a tech to check it out- well we ALREADY had a tech come...he says it's dine BUT ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE 6 HRS TO DRY 3 TEA TOWELS!! ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE PRODUCT- EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. DO NOT BUY.
Horrible - we bought this dryer in 2021 and since have experienced nothing but break downs with it. The unit had to be taken apart and repaired with new parts within 2 years of purchase. To this day it is unreliable - if you run a normal drying cycle, it is a gamble if you can run a second one in a row without the unit shutting off and refusing to start. Unfortunately the extended warranty has run out and so I am stuck with this lemon of a unit until it decides to one day stop working altogether.
This dryer came with my apartment. I've had nothing but problems. Clothes are still wet after the first go around. Which means time has to be added on, at least 30 minutes. I'm very careful to clean *both* lint traps! It's already been repaired once within the first year of me using it. And now it's working/not working! It goes for a bit then seems to stall and it sounds like it's trying to get the drum to go. I can't afford to get this thing repaired again. And hearing that it has to be taken apart to just have MORE lint removed by a tech is ridiculous! If I could toss this thing in the dump I would.
there are several problems with this machine. they say it takes "a little longer than regular dryers", ya, sure 4 hrs for a normal mixed load is not just a little longer. if you manually choose the highest heat setting and turn off eco mode to get it to dry within 2 hours, even then things aren't quite dry. it's been this way since new and we are very diligent with cleaning both filters every time. there is also quite a bit of condensation that leaks from the lower exterior lint filter. we have to put down a cloth to absorb it. if you do several loads a day, there will be a lot of water on the floor. and now, after only 3 months, the unit has packed it in. the control panel stopped working during a cycle. no lights and does not respond, though the unit was still running when we noticed this. i had to shut off the breaker to get it to stop. now t's dead.
Unit is exactly 2 years old and as with some of the other reviews drying time continues to increase exponentially, it takes about 5 hours to dry a load of just 2-3 bath sheets with a few pairs of sweatpants. Leaks water on the floor! We have done everything that has been mentioned in the owners manual for care and maintenance. We also have the matching front load washer, that piece of garbage lasted only 7 months before the motherboard needed to be replaced. Worst appliances we have ever had and it is not even close!
