[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this 7.0 cu. ft. gas dryer a few months ago, and it has completely transformed how our household handles laundry day. If you are tired of overly complicated appliances with fragile digital screens and useless tech features, this manual-dial machine is exactly what you need. The 7.0 cubic feet drum handles giant loads of denim, bulky bath towels, and queen-sized comforters with absolute ease. I no longer have to split my washing loads into smaller drying groups. I was skeptical about moisture sensors, but the AutoDry feature works flawlessly. It accurately detects when the clothes are finished and shuts off early, saving us a ton on our monthly gas bill and preventing fabric shrinkage. Nothing falls onto the dusty If I am busy cooking dinner or running errands when the cycle ends, the machine keeps tumbling periodically. It keeps my work shirts wrinkle-free until I am ready to hang them up. It runs remarkably quiet, dries heavy fabrics quickly, and feels built to last for a decade. It does its job perfectly without any unnecessary bells and whistles. I highly recommend it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Too early to rate my new Whirlpool dryer because I've only had it for a week... Though, the reason I stayed with Whirlpool is because my previous dryer lasted 40 years. I had very few problems with requiring minimal repair, which I was able to do on my own.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Exactly what I was looking for. A very simple and easy to use dryer without a complicated electronic control panel. Nice large opening and roomy hamper door. A perfect replacement for my 22+ year old dryer that finally gave out. Would definitely recommend this gas dryer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new dryer, especially the wide, hamper door! It's ultra-easy to use, and it gets the job done. No hassling with touch panels, either! Thanks, Whirlpool!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i wanted a basic dryer without all of the extra bells and whistles, and this fit my needs perfectly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The motor on our dryer went out and we had to purchase a new one. We think Whirlpool is a great brand and we bought this one after some research. Seems like there were great reviews, so we bought it. Simple enough for us old folks (don't need wi-fi), is quiet, and does a great job drying our clothes.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Previously only purchased high end appliances. After living with one 13 years where for the last four its performance was sub par decided to go with no frills. Has a top lint screen which I never had although seems to work better, but I don't care for drop opening door which makes it harder to load and further to reach in to empty. But love the inside light which some higher priced have dropped . Works good so far let see for how long.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love that my large comforters fit, but I have to run large loads and large items twice to get them dry.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to run dryer twice to dry full load, and it doesn't matter which setting I use (I've tried them all). Door design does not make it easy to load/unload dryer. Generally underwhelmed. If you usually have smaller loads of laundry perhaps this would not be as much of an issue for you.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently purchased this dryer, not real saatisfied with it, when I put it on High heat and run dryer for 40 minutes, it still does not dry the waistband on short or pants, or socks that are a little tangled and does not dry the towels completely, this was a bad selection I made, not happy with the product.
